I would think we would have heard about it if Tiffany were pregnant by now. Most new couples love to announce births that will be occurring.

We also need to remember that there are two men dead. The dad didn't have a history of child abuse and hadn't ever been convicted of any crimes. We haven't heard that he was an alcoholic or drug addict. In fact, we have heard nothing negative about the father to this point. It seems that this father was a hard working man who loved his family. He came home from work never dreaming that it was his last day on earth possibly by the hand of his 8 yr old son.

Mr. Romans and the boy's father have had a history of getting in fights at work and at a local bar. Mr. Romans supposedly had a drug history. If anyone can help me find the link to the article, it would be appreciated.

- comments from somewhere that dad & roommate did get into skuffs at a bar & had problems with other employees
- his own mother saying "they were too hard on him" regarding her observations of how they handled the child
- the child's 1,000 spanking comment & saying he was always in trouble
- the quoted statement of an official on the Laura Roberts blog from 11/22 which noted that there is evidence to indicate the child might be innocent of killing these men, but that it could not be discussed due to the gag order

So, maybe there is another culprit, and the child is a victim, too, and he didn't think it would be his father's last day on earth either.

I think Trino meant that if the boy knew their would be a new addition to the family, he may have got jealous..

Or, since we're speculating , Maybe VR wasn't the father & Tif wanted out & found a way to pull a Mary Winkler -- only she didn't take the kid to keep him protected, she hung him out to dry & fed him a story to tell -- which he tried & got confused on & mucked up -- & she said to him something like "don't worry, your just a kid. you'll go to "juvie" for a little while, but they'll know it wasn't you & then you'll get out & it will all be OK" --- since we're speculating .

So, here's a thought...
Could we start another thread that lists only facts as we actually know them. No conversation, no theories. Just facts & the various statements of the witnesses as we know them to be thus far?

ie. There were casings found at _____
There was the grandmother's statement
There are the mother's statements
There are some specific quotes from the court filings, etc., that are not supposition, but statement...., etc., etc., etc.

It might help all of us get back to objectivity in just the facts, not the theories.

We really don't even know that yet.We do not know if his son killed him yet.We need the facts.They are not out yet.

As far as I'm concerned the rest of what I said is true. Nothing negative has been said about the dad in the papers or by anyone in the community. Those are the facts as we know them right now.
