I believe the jailhouse letters are still to make an appearance. AM will be making an appearance I'm sure. CN, don't know.

There is more to come but no DNA evidence I don't think. If they had it, we would have heard about it in the opening statement.

I'm dreading when DM gets to present his Defence. I think it's going to be ridiculous and painful to watch.

I'm at a point that I just want to see this done and over with. Lock them up AGAIN and throw away the key - AGAIN!

Agreed re. the DNA evidence; I have been thinking exactly the same thing. Many people, it seems, are holding out hope that there is going to be a damning DNA presentation before the Crown rests, but if that were the case, its existence would very likely have been included in the Crown's opening.

DM and MS I think got off in torture. We don't know if Laura was tortured or not. They derived sick pleasure from violence and there are some killers who even get sexually aroused by killing someone.
It is very deviant behavior and isn't Luka Magnotta one of them, then he hacked up the body of his victim into pieces.
DM and MS displayed being giddy and happy about the murders and even giving Laura s belongings away.
When they incinerated Tim Bosma many hours later MM described them being very happy and celebrating. They actually derived pleasure from the murders.
These are very sick, sick individuals and like Luka Magnotta, who knows what makes them tick, I don't think we want to know. Just lock them up for good.

I think that you are right. I don't know of the torture but they seemed to celebrate their kills.
I have watched their trials since 1/2 way through the first one and this is the first mention that I have heard of black tar. (heroin)

IMO for most of human history before the digital age it would not have even been possible to have this amount and variety of evidence against two accused killers. Yet trials still happened and people were convicted

Excellent Point. We tend to forget what it was "like" before the dawn of computers, cell phones, pings, GPS co-ordinates, CCTV, and on and on on.

You make a great point.

And CSI, which has created unreal expectations.

I think CN will make an appearance. She will the last witness.

Really? I don't know. I'm just not sure they would call her after her last performance. She's a known, yet unknown quantity. You can't trust what will come out of that mouth of hers. I would worry she could blow things up for the Crown.

Love to see it though. She certainly was entertaining last time around although horribly disrespectful and vacuous. A real piece of work.

If there is anything related to LB in the redacted parts of the jailhouse letters, they might need CN to establish what the letters are so they can be added to the pile of evidence.

I wonder, if in CN's trial for accessory after-the-fact, there was an agreement made between CN and the Crown that she would appear as a 'co-operative' witness in LB's case. My speculation only, as I don't know if it is even possible to do something like this.

I’ve often wondered the same. I think anything is possible, and a similar arrangement could have also been made for MWJ and the WM trial.

But at the same time, I’m of the opinion that CN has nothing to offer anyone, even in the name of justice. Souless, conscienceless people don’t work that way. She’s made that quite clear.

MILLARD referred to himself as an undercover Doctor
Apr 19 1:57 am Millard texts Noudga: "I fancy myself something of an undercover doctor." (1/2) Babcock Day 12: Falconer testimony

Are we so sure that there even was a dr taking her on a trip? I thought the only reference to this “trip doctor” was Laura telling someone that she was going on a trip with a dr (to either disney or somewhere else)... i remember people wondering if this was real or just a cover story from her. I didn’t think it was verified that there was a real dr. (I recall the dr who testified about Laura and Julie, but if his testimony is to be believed, he is not the dr who was taking her on a trip). For some reason i’ve always felt this was a story made up by Laura. I remember reading that people were speculating that DM could have possibly made her think/somehow arranged this dr trip, but after seeing the further evidence of her calls and phone pings, i think she knew she was meeting up with DM and not a dr.

Oh, there's no question that she knew she was meeting up with DM on the 3rd. And I also suspect that DM used the trip ruse expecting that she would share with friends/family that she was going away, and it would delay concern about her whereabouts.

I'm not expecting CN to testify. But I am hoping for further evidence about the van. Not sure why the crown explained all the van details if they aren't presenting evidence that LBs body was transported in it.

Does anyone know how MS gets around when his boyfriend doesn't drive him?

The photo of DM standing on a pail is still very weird. To me it definitely indicates a staged event. The incinerator was on his mind, and SS most likely took the photo. For some reason, I get the feeling SS is one that knows a lot more than what he claims. I know they asked SS if he took the photo, and he didn't remember, but I would sure like to know how many times SS has observed DM playing aircraft mechanic?

From Bill's timeline. Is that text to Smich, not to SS? Doesn't make sense why he would text MS about paycheque and dropping ball off.

Jun 4 10:32 am Schlatman texts Millard: "Trailer is painted. Has 2 6000 lb axles in it."
Jun 4 10:34 am Millard texts Smich: "great. I'll come by later today to do a paycheque, drop off that ball, and go over incinerator mods."
Jun 4 11:02 am Schlatman texts Millard: "Ok cool. T4's this week?"

And when he drops by hours later, this photo.

Two photos from the Mob Reporter .

Snipped the tarp one as I find it does not need to be repeated.

And just a short while later he is on the farm with the tarp using his dad's van. Was his dad in the house that night?

SS probably took the photo, but DM could have also set a timer and took it himself.

His bike it seemed. Or his feet

I think we have the text exchange between Michalski and Millard wrong.

AM sends photo of Laura to DM

DM texts back: What you'd do?!

Strange reply.

AM texts: You told me the only way to make her 🤬🤬🤬

DM text: you asked me if I minded if you

DM text: that was the last time I heard of her

So when was that? And why the reply "what you'd do?" What is that supposed to mean?

I read it that way as well. Not quite as damning that way, IMO.
Unless DM is trying to pin it on AM asking what he did?
