Prediction: There will be no Deus ex machina explanation of anything casey did. He won't give any reason at all in opening for casey not reporting her daughter missing and for partying without a care in the world for 31 days. I have watched enough of these high profile cases to know that defense attorneys blow hard before trial (think Geragos in the scott peterson trial) and then come up with nothing. he'll probably just say in opening that he will prove that casey is 100% innocent but then provide no proof of the kind at trial. He has nothing because his client is guilty.

JB said that he could tell ICA was a good mother and that she loved Caylee very much.....because in part he had been in both ICA and Caylee's bedrooms. I'm assuming he judges this reasoning by the way the rooms look and the stuff that was in them.

Does he really think it was ICA that decorated and kept the rooms so neat? Does he really think that ICA picked out all the clothes and shoes and toys? ICA didn't do any of that. Remember she didn't even have a job. She had more important things to do, like stealing, texting, driving around, hanging out, dancing and who knows what else.

CA was the one who cared about how the rooms looked and what Caylee and ICA wore. CA was the one who worked and provided for everything that Caylee and ICA needed.
To use JB's way of thinking, does that mean that CA was the one that should have been voted mother and grandmother of the year?

I haven't even wanted to read this thread because frankly I am sick and disgusted with the media folk, (esp. InSession... wth) pandering to the A's and the DT! Just need a moment to vent before I go back and read the thread...but I heard Baez say on HLN that WE-the public- misunderstand the love Casey had for her child?! I know Baez isn't so quick on his feet, but what kind of whacked out statement is that? How does one misunderstand the love a parent has for their child? What WE-the public- don't understand is how one kills a child they supposedly love...end statement!

I actually heard HLN report Casey didn't report her daughter missing for "several" days. Since when is the course of a month considered "several"?

PS- Casey NEVER willingly reported her daughter missing.

So Baez was driving down the highway while he was being interviewed on national television? He should have gotten a ticket for sure. Or is it still legal in Florida to drive while talking on your cell?

Either way it shows how he does things half-arsed. No wonder he sounded so distracted.

And that's the exact reason I thought "Uh oh" when JB was trying to discredit those officers at the hearings on the handcuff matter. Wouldn't want to be him being pulled over by OSCO LEO.

I want to know why, since Curtis Jackson is irrelevent to this case, Baez would feel it so necessary to go on TV and explain to anyone who would listen that CJ was just someone inserting himself into the case, ICA was really a great mother and everything is so unfair, and blah, blah, blah......
