How will they enforce terms of bail If she’s allowed to return to the states? Or are terms of bail in the Bahamas so lax that there’s not much to enforce?
So basically she’ll be free to do anything she wants other than getting within 100 ft of RS. No ankle monitor or curfew, no checking in several times a week, etc. …. as there’s no one to enforce it. Or what?

100 ft? I'd want at least 500 ft ! JMO

The prosecution didn’t oppose the application on the condition that she doesn’t come within 100 feet of her husband, the alleged target of the murder plot.
Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson is scheduled to deliver a decision on the application to vary the terms of Shiver’s $100,000 cash bail on December 21.

The court did not issue a ruling after a hearing where Lindsay Shiver asked for permission to travel to the US to visit her children.

I would be shocked if they let her await trial in the US. Then again, I am already pretty surprised they are entertaining her leaving the country at all, even for a visit, so there's that.

I wonder what it'll be. Looks like we will find out on Thursday.

Lindsay in court at 10AM today to request the Court allow her to travel to the US to see her kids. Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Robert S was there via zoom , stating he’s in fear physically and emotionally for himself and his children, and doesn’t think it’s a good idea for the children to be reintroduced to LS at this point in time.
LS was seated in the area where the jury sits and looked down most of the time shaking her head, and did not look at RS.

Court has taken a break, waiting on the judge to make a decision. The consensus is that she will be allowed to go back because the prosecution has no objections.

At this point, I’m surprised RS hasn’t attempted to get a restraining order against LS. I know if someone had threatened my life I sure would!
@PrairieWind could you weigh in on if that would be a possibility or not? TIA

It is important to keep the criminal matter and the divorce/custody cased separate, especially since they are in different countries. Bahamas apparently is comfortable in their arrangements to ensure she returns for trial, we don't know yet what those arrangements are.
But I would think it would be pretty easy for RS to get a restraining order on her through the divorce court. That would pretty much be a slam dunk. She may get some visitation still, supervised or not, no idea. If I were his divorce attorney, I would argue that supervision be limited and supervised given the allegations against her. You don't want her grabbing the kids and fleeing to a 3rd country. I've never asked for a passport to be surrendered in a civil case but it could maybe be done. Not that that would necessarily stop her. What is her access to the marital home and other assets? There should be an order in place in the divorce matter to spell that out.

Per Court TV, she is to stay with her parents in Alabama. She is only allowed in Georgia for custody and divorce proceedings. Did not hear any mention of restrictions on seeing her boys, but I would suspect that is for the GA courts to decide?

It was costing 7,000 -20,000 a month for her parents to pay for her living expenses in the Bahamas. Holy cow!
And she’ll still be wearing an ankle monitor.

You know what is so wrong about this? Saying that LS can only be in Georgia for divorce or custody proceedings. Why? Because she tried to have other people kill her husband. She could arrange that from her parents' home in Alabama.

What drama is she bringing back with her? I don't think she'll be able to help herself. I am curious about the kids visiting her, I'm assuming her parents will be the go between? All JMO

Sure, but she could do that from the Bahamas as well.
