Kamille, I just read your full post. I was referring to the same thing. Sorry for the double post.
Although you can buy duck tape any place, don't know if they had time or would have thought to run to a store. We keep a small roll in our suitcase for emergencies example a rip in the bag or faulty zipper or latch. Good old duck tape got us home several times. Maybe Mrs Mack carried some. These two were good at stealing maybe took from service cart.
Just the thought of Heather taping her mothers limbs.. I hope they feed her fish heads. Jmo
ciao
Suitcase went to the taxi at 11:26am which then puts the crime as possibly around midnight according to the autopsy.
IMO that definately discounts the claimed CCTV footage of Sheila in the lobby at 3:45am.
Blood stained towels were found in garden area of the hotel - perhaps it was HM in the lobby caught on CCTV when she was off stashing evidence.
Thanks for help re the hunt for data. Coming up empty everywhere.

"Sheila Von Weise-Mack was murdered when she was standing, hit by a blunt object, it could be an ashtray or flower vase that was found at the crime scene. The body was found 12 - 14 hours after it happened," said Dr. Dudut Rustyad, head of the police forensic team at Sanglah hospital morgue in Denpasar.
The autopsy found that breaks in von Wiese-Mack's neck and nose extended to her upper right and left jaws, causing respiratory disorders. It also showed hand wounds suggesting she was trying to fend off an attack.
"We also found blood aspiration, which meant the victim was standing when assaulted," Alit said. "The conclusion is that the victim suffocated from lack of oxygen because of influx of blood from the broken nose bone."

I don't remember what time Sheila was discovered. I know it was 2 hours after the suitcase was left in the taxi. They say she was killed 12-14 hours prior to the discovery of her body.
No way is HM adopted. She looks just like her parents, IMO.
And somehow that doesn't make sense...or is off somewhat because IIRC, they said she dies Tuesday morning.
I agree. She looks like a blend with her parents. There is a local on the radar comments and she emphatically states HM is NOT adopted and that SWM gave birth to her at a late age-- 42/43.
Pardon if this has been posted already, but here is a link to a video account online of HM, enjoy before it gets locked down: http://www.vinegram.com/u/940463768373178368
I've searched for her birthdate everywhere, including all comments on articles - and nothing. HM doesn't seem to have an on-line presence, nor friends that commented on birthday parties.
The funny thing is, why would HM go on a trip with Shelia, when she hated her so much? And what happened to the $500,000 that was to go to James' estate for HM? "Sheila von Wiese-Mack immediately netted $340,667 after legal fees for her share of the settlement, according to court records.

Some interesting little snippets on that acct. When did HM go to Greece? Was that another holiday with her mom?
News articles refer to the Greece trip a year or two ago. I think just HM and SM.
Three years ago a Cook County judge approved a $1.5 million settlement in a lawsuit von Wiese-Mack’s late husband had filed against Royal Caribbean Cruises, after injuring his foot on a cruise ship.
He had been dead for years by the time the lawsuit was settled, so the bulk of the settlement — $840,000 – went to von Wiese-Mack. The Sun-Times reported James Mack’s will indicated he was providing only for his daughter, Heather Mack, who was 10 at the time he signed his will.
However, in 2012, a judge allowed von Wiese-Mack to pay herself the $500,000 that went to her late husband’s estate.
The Sun-Times also has obtained police reports from 86 visits police made to von Wiese-Mack’s former home in Oak Park from January 2004 to June 2013. The reports detail repeated allegations from von Wiese-Mack that Heather Mack punched and bit her, though she regularly asked police not to arrest Heather.
Police did arrest Heather Mack in January 2011, after she allegedly knocked her mother to the floor and broke her arm.
From the link provided, they talk about a lawsuit settlement of half a million. That is NOT a lot of money.

Mr Elkin is expected to arrive in Bali today to talk to Ms Mack though he will not be representing Mr Shaefer.
Bali police spokesman Hery Wiyanto said both Mack and Scaefer were depressed.
"Their mental state is checked every day," he said. "Tommy seems better, but as they both continue to refuse to speak it is difficult.
"Tommy is under close observation and has no access to materials he could use to (commit) suicide," Mr Wiyanto added.

Yes, it's incredibly troubling. Seems as though Heather was way more than a handful, more akin to a devil's spawn IMVHO.
Something bugs me, though. In those reports of police visits to their house, it's written that Sheila wouldn't let her husband's son visit (when he was under 18 for visitation), would turn out the lights & lock the doors if his mother was trying to drop him off, wouldn't let him speak with his father, etc. It makes me wonder if this could have something to do with Heather's hatred towards her mother. I also remember reading that Heather's siblings (from her father's previous marriage) haven't seen her in many many many years. If that is all true, I wonder if it'll play a factor in Heather's sentencing.
So, HM's lawyer is finally due to arrive in Bali today (it is Thursday morning in this region). But he is not going to represent TS at all, apparently.
The FBI agent flew back to the US with Sheila's body - which should have arrived in Chicago a handful of hours ago, by my calculations - they said she was being transported directly to Chicago to be examined by FBI.
How in the world did he go from dating someone like Rachel, to someone like Heather?
It appears they are polar opposites. Except for the fact that both their families had money.
