HM will be sentenced in Bali, not be represented by a US lawyer in court, her Indonesian lawyer may or may not get the opportunity to speak (depending on the judges), and I am not sure that the panel of Indonesian judges will even think this is relevant in her murder sentencing. It appears they work pretty much only on the 'facts of the crime', as they say. The only mitigating factor that I have read about is if it is a drug charge, they may be a little kinder if you are a drug addict.

Speaking of that, I wonder if any weed showed up in their system... I also wonder how many outraged Americans sent screen captures of all of their weed & partying pictures to the Indonesian authorities in charge of this case. I mean, now knowing they murdered Sheila, and how she was murdered, I'm sure some are so outraged that they'd do that, especially considering Indonesian drug laws.
