The fund raising states "not active" now. But it's still up. :waitasec:

Well the fund has only gotten one donation in all the days it has been open. It has however garnered some criticism among the comments section, such as the comment pointing out that the ChristianLegalFund" which is in charge of this donation campaign is run by Vanessa Flavia (cohort of Elkins). I think we already knew this though.

I did find this though in the section telling about the donation website and which kinds of fundraisers are prohibited "Please note: (insert website name here) does not permit fundraising campaigns for legal defense, litigation, bail bonds or other legal matters. Related fundraisers may also be subject to review on a case-by-case basis

That's why it was specifically touted as not being for HMs legal fund, kinda like a disclaimer. But it looks like perhaps the website decided that the campaign was not within their standards and is thus "not active". ( My guess only, lol)

Also remember TS' mom had her fundraiser on this site under the title "my-son-tommy-schaefer-deserves-a-fair-trial". (Also against fundraiser rules, lol and also pulled from the site)

As they say in my part of the world " Well, that went about as well as a lead balloon" (ie, obviously a balloon made of lead is not going to be very successful or popular lol)

We have lead balloons here, too. Nope, they don't fly.

Silly jokes mean I need to go to bed. .........................:offtobed:

Hi gitana

I'm looking for people to contradict me to figure out what these two are up to and who better to do that than a lawyer themselves. :floorlaugh:

So, because I'm not from the US, can you tell me how these "trusts" work? Are they exempt from probate? Seems that SWM had set up some kind of estate trust, likely for HM?

Hopefully the other's can help out with information on that. I have no idea how that works.

TIA

Well you're right. A good trust avoids probate. Unless there is a problem. In this case, the last I heard was that SHeila's brother was trustee. If he refuses to dispense any proceeds to HM, someone can sue on her behalf. Or he can go in himself and request orders such that the estate is not dispersed until a wrongful death case is over or not to HM at all because she is a murderer.

It will be interesting to see what happens. Hopefully none of these attorneys will get a dime from Sheila's estate.

I cant stop reading the comments on the baby Stella fund site and the Oak Park news article talking about the fund set up for baby stella.

Am I nuts because I don't understand how anybody in their right mind could think that allowing an infant to spend even a day in a filthy, crowded prison with HM is a better alternative than just taking whatever steps need to be taken to get this kid in foster care / adopted immediately. I know that breastfeeding is important but there are plenty of healthy kids out there that are never breastfed.

I don't have facebook so I cant post a comment on the fund's site....ugggggghhhhh

Interesting article about HM and TS from a Bali site

http://www.inbali.org/life-in-bali/

From the article....

The couple have announced that, despite their reputation, they wish to remain living in Bali (what.. beyond your uh.. release??) – because the people are so kind. They have even been quoted as saying they are considering naming their unborn child Putu, a nod to the land. Public response has indicated this might not be welcomed by the masses.

Skin: crawling.

Well, they've had over a week in their new spacious digs. Wonder how they're liking it? Sleeping side by side with a group of other people, chowing down on yummy rice stew each day, sharing the toilets with 1,000 other people, sweating it out in wet season, getting no visitors when everyone else is in the visitors area.

I can hear the Balinese women now, shaking their heads and saying ..'you killed your mother?!! ... oh no ..'

Culture
A cloth sling attached to the front or back of the mother, aunties or older sisters is home for Balinese babies during this first year. The strong sense of community is never more evident than when a new baby enters their world.
Girls learn much from their mothers and become a great help in running the home. They must learn the skills associated with ceremonies, house cleaning and preparing and carrying offerings to the gods and spirits.
Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, children and cousins are all very close and in some cases will all live together in one house. If they do not live together, they will often live within the same village (banjar). This increases the family unit and strengthens the whole community.

Are HM & TS able to see each other in Hotel K? Daily? Freely? TIA

Hey. Everyone go clean out your inboxes and free up some space. Had two PMs rejected because recipient didn't have any more space.

OMG :thud:

I can’t stand it …. sickening!

This is just some little adventure to her! Some little hiccup where she will emerge unscathed and live happily ever after.

I guess she is already planning for when she gets off, and stays in Bali to visit Tommy every day and bring him food and other useful items.

Wonder how long it will take for her to change her mind, now that she'll be in steaming hot, sweaty Kerobokan with mosquitos and cramped conditions.

.

I think she's just kissing tail. She hates Indonesia and would leave immediately if she could.

I think she is a sociopath and will do and say whatever she needs to in order to get a lighter sentence.

Like the good people of Bali really look forward to having a teenage murderess in their midst. :(

Yes, HM, we read about your 'attitude' and we have seen 'what it do' ....

  • #913
omg she is naming the baby after the mother she murdered? How effing sick is that?

  • #914
No, the deceased is Sheila. Stella I believe is one of HM's grandmothers

  • #915
In the pic of HM and chesty the lawyer, does HM look pg to you? I wondered because I was reviewing news articles and I believe Chesty the lawyer was wearing that same outfit the first time she visited, which I believe was September??? I don't know why I assumed at first that it was a new pic, or why it even matters.

Wondering....

Understandable.

I am so glad that the fundraiser to keep the baby in jail was shut down. Seriously wtf were the lawyers thinking anyway with their "Help an innocent baby be raised in jail by a brutal killer"? They should be trying to get that baby OUT of there but instead they are OBVIOUSLY using the baby as a prop, trying to paint the killers as loving parents of an innocent baby.

If they were really worried that the baby would not get adequate food then they would do everything to get her out of there. But no, they just want to use that helpless baby to try to help the heartless killer. HM is a violent offender - there is no doubt about that - there is proof of the damage she did to Sheila (who was a grown woman). So what do they think a frustrated HM will do to an innocent baby when it cries and wakes HM up or doesn't do as HM pleases (as babies are known to do).

These lawyers have reached a new low by putting their parasitic sights on that baby. The health and welfare of the baby means nothing to them except as a means to make HM look sympathetic and to get their hands on SVM's money.

Exactly right. Let her breastfeed for two weeks and then get that baby out of PRISON! Even better, just have her pump milk.

She shouldn't be with that baby for a second, IMO. She's a danger to a helpless infant.

Just let this serve as a reminder.

"On August 7, Mack's 19-year-old daughter Heather posted on Instagram a photo she presumably took from the window of their hotel, the five-star St. Regis, accompanied by the caption: "i refuse to let someone say what i can do, gettin (sic) money my attitude you know what it do #bali," the MailOnline reports."

I was thinking about this tweet today. How can such slangy, bad grammar be translated so the judges there can figure out what it could mean?
