Bankrupt Casey Anthony interviewed by KPHO CBS in Phoenix

I don't understand the whole George connection with the lease. Somehow I missed where that came from. Can someone kindly inform me?

And why would he do that after making a big show of congratulating Ashton on his election win, which I took as a direct slap in the face to Casey.

Nevermind.....I just realized that I asked for an explanation for Anthony behavior.

Just wondering out loud, but I wonder if both can be true. IF the lease was signed by Casey (crazy thought, I know, but bear with me), but George was a co-signer, it could be reasoned that George did "get" the condo for her because realistically speaking, she has no wherewithal whatsoever to obtain housing on her own. Yet with his signature, he IS providing it as there is no good reason to lease to someone with no job, no assets, etc.

I do know a person who did co-sign a lease for a person who had been convicted of a felony, had no assets, and had just started a job after being unemployed for quite some time, so I know that can happen. It was also done to help the person re-establish credit and get back to being a productive member of society. So I can see this as a possibility.

It would also make sense to me that she would list the realtor in her BK because IF she did sign the lease, she is the principle party on the hook for the money, not George. I'm not real familiar with how things work in BK, and if this is the case, I'm not clear if the BK judge would allow the realtor's money to be included in the BK if George did in fact co-sign the lease.

Like I said, just thinking out loud. :twocents: :moo:
Great question for the lawyer... I'm certainty not a lawyer, but I thought that if fca, or the primary on the money owed, defaulted on her part, they would then go after the co signer to retrieve the remaining balance owed. So, basically she would throw her dad under the bus again... But, that's a big if, because I have no idea what the facts are...

Yes, that's what we're trying to figure out.. :banghead:

It is amazing to me that she would default on Baez. Here this guy does the impossible for her, gets her out of jail, scot-free, stands by her through thick and thin---and this is how she repays him? :floorlaugh:

Back to Steve Helling- he wrote this article for People magazine which states that the condo was leased by George..

Hmmm- but with an experienced public defender she most likely would not have sat in jail for three years- IMO JB was more interested in getting a media type of career than get on with his real work, he was never prepared, never ready for hearings, disorganized.
Providing of course they came up with the same type of Jurors she would have been done in a year or so...

I think it was one of the talking heads on JVM that said she should be kissing his butt for saving her life and working triple jobs to pay everybody back. Or maybe it was a comment on an article.

Interesting.....thanks. I'm thinking if it wasn't true wouldn't George make a statement through his attorney denying the leasing of the condo for her?

He has squashed rumors and made statements that way before, he's silent this time. Cindy had a relationship with the magazine back when the news about Caylee broke in 2008. They did that interview with her and photo shoot in Caylee's room. I cant help but wonder if this information could have come directly from her family. Testing the waters maybe. Not saying that is true but it's possible. Who knows? They love a circus...and a payout.

Oh Boy! Alright - I give up! She's there, she has a dog, a bodyguard and loving parents who take her out to wine and dine her. We don't need proof - I'm an easy going person and don't mind at all that no one agrees with me........:floorlaugh:
It's all good!

Here's the thing LG, I do agree with you. Personally I don't think we should say things that just aren't proven to be facts. Here we are trusting People magazine, twitter post's, and what-have-you. It make's me nuts. Why can't we be satisfied with knowing she isn't our neighbor cuz I'll tell you if she was my neighbor I'd expose her in a micro second to get her out of my neighborhood and I can't imagine that there aren't people who feel the way I do. You know? I mean how many regular people would willingly get into some conspiracy thing for the like's of her. This is just my opinion of course.

Anyone watch Piers Morgan tonight? Apparently he had Cheney Mason on
to talk about Casey.:boohoo: the gist of what I've seen reported is that she is not reconciled with her family since "they" tried to get her killed via Grand Jury testimony ( I think that means George) and she filed bankruptcy to avoid all these attorneys who are trying to sue her for their own vain need to make a name. I'll get the transcript later.
That is from the horse's mouth as it were, but that doesn't mean it's the truth either.
I just don't get why these TV stations continue with force-feeding us stories about Casey Anthony. They seem not to understand the outrage people feel.

This is just getting bizarre.

Some of us believe that she is most likely there and some of us don't. Welcome to spirited debate ,which is at times, an integral part of this forum isn't it? Agreeing to disagree is part of it without all of the constant condescension and overdose of snark.

And since when is People magazine so reviled for being utter trash? It has always been the most respected of the "gossip" magazines in the US. It is in the upper echelon in its genre if there is such a thing.

I'm not really sure what all of the vitriol directed at it is about. Is is the New York Times or Vanity Fair? No. But it is far from total and complete trashy fiction.

We quote Fox News and other mass media on here all of the time and they are not all exactly known for being credible or correct.

Jeez!
If I may. I love to read the debates on here and I guess I haven't interpreted anyone's post to be condescending or snarky. Does it really matter that we have differing opinions? No, of course not because if we all had the same opinions we'd have nothing to debate. IMO People is a "gossip" magazine and I personally think it favor's FCA and that's why I don't like it. I'm not to fond of the way the media reports either as the journalist's throw in their opinions when they should just be reporting the facts of any subject. I truely hope you wont consider my post as condescending, snarky or vitriol (which I don't even know what that means) as I sure don't mean it to be.

Bankruptcy filing requires the filer to list everyone they owe. A friend of mine is in the process of filing as she has some extensive medical bills that she cannot pay in full. Her attorney advised her she must include ALL debts she has, even those that are not in arrears. Basically, my friend has been informed by her lawyer that if she owes money it has to be listed, even those she does not intend to default on (car, mortgage, gas and electric bills, etc.).

LOL, good ole Mason. Let's not forget how outraged he was that her computer had been hacked (when her video diaries showed up online) and professed they would investigate and prosecute those responsible.

If George or Cindy did not cosign on a lease, who did? Someone had to. Casey is not exactly a good candidate for tenancy--at least in my state no landlord, not even a slumlord, would rent to her without a cosigner. And if no one cosigned for Casey to live somewhere, how are tenants of an apartment complex claiming they see her all the time walking her dog?

Either her parents did this, or her attorneys delved into their pockets to put her up somewhere...or those "gift cards" have a lot more value than anyone is willing to admit.

JMO.

I too agree that People is a gossip magazine, I just don't put it in the same class as Star Magazine etc. Not too much above but not quite that trashy either.

I am a huge proponent of differing opinions and spirited debate and I do not think that you are snarky or condescending one bit.

It's true krkrhx! Everything has to be listed with the balance amounts (which I don't understand why FCA dosen't have to list her balance amounts) as we had to file for that very same reason (medical). We were allowed to keep our home as we did a (gosh I can't remember what it was called maybe a homestead thing) and we had to keep our truck to as it was the only reliable vehicle we had but we had to do paper work for that too. Yep I wonder why FCA is so much better then your friend or us or anyone else who has to go through this. It's extremly embarrassing and make's a person feel as if they are shirking their duty to pay their debts when they've worked all their live's and payed their debts until a catastrophic event happened that was beyond their control. FCA's event was self inflicked and she continues to chose that path apparently. I feel for your friend.

...and when I was reading about why Adam Longo got the interview, he was quick to say that Casey in some way felt betrayed with the last Piers Morgan interview...and now another interview? Well, if it was a new one...then I'm very confused.

"It's my understanding from both Cheney Mason and Casey Anthony personally that the conversation with Piers Morgan was off the record, and she told me she was upset when she saw the program air where everything she said to him was paraphrased," Longo said.

Ya know...to me, it really doesn't matter where these folks report Casey to be...what does matter, to me anyhow, is that she's not where SHE SHOULD BE!!! jmho

That is it exactly!

I think most people do not care one bit about where she is; it's just that when we hear about where she is, it reminds us yet again that she is not where she should be.

This is not meant to contradict you, but I don't believe a word Baez says- I would bet she was hidden in plain sight, really close to her home. As you say, people were looking for her everywhere but Orlando .

No contradiction ZsaZsa
I don't believe anything he says either.

Just got home from work, turned on the TV and saw Piers Morgan on Leno...

This is a new show ZsaZsa?
I'd like to hear/read this one.
I need a good :floorlaugh:
