FYI: During an interview with Simon Barrett, Cobra told SB he was the one who brought KP onboard.
CS said she and Ronald were doing cocaine when she found out she was pregnant with HaLeigh and then she stopped. She also said Ron physically abused her during her pregnancy.

I think it is a cute nickname. You know ladybug, Haleighbug.
Just my opinion. Parents sometimes give their children pet nicknames that as the children grow up they despise...My son's name is Abraham and we all called him Aber, then Aber Baber.lol. Once he started school he informed me I should never call him that name in school or near his friends...

I truly believe it is a nickname..Ya know a cute term of endearment...You may think it is undignified.. Personally, I think its a sweet little nickname.... I used to call my youngest Meggaroni and even Meglet...

That's the thing, I have lots of nicknames for my kids, and I just hope this Haleighbug name was one she had before she went missing. Not a name made up for the sake of the center. It's just a passing thought I said out loud. Nothing I will dwell on or get hung up on. Or to start anything. Thats what I meant is all.

I find it ironic that the Father of Haleigh, who, imo, is the only parent that gave a crap about her, stood up and raised her and her brother, supported, clothed, fed, took them to the Dr., made sure she went to school and that both were clean and well groomed, is villified by some.

While the Mother who, gave up custody, couldn't be bothered to get out of bed to take her child to the Dr., couldn't be bothered to show up the her custody hearing, told a lie about the hearing, made false abuse claims against the Father, continued to use cocaine while pregnant with her second child, did not pay child support, who was more concerned about getting her support order modified than she was her missing child, is placed on a pedestal and made out to be the "better parent." Ridiculous. All MOO.

And the same people who have sainted CS have nothing to say about the facts presented about CS by her own attorney, I guess because there is no defense of these things, IMO. But RC is still treated as a horrible person and no one has any proof he did anything he as been accused of. MOO.

She wasn't warned about a sex offender. The person that was in contact with Crystal and Marie was a Moderator at a forum. This particular forum about Haleigh, was started by a sex offender. It helps when you listen to KP own words or read TJ Harts interview with her.

PS- IMO it's tacky for an attorney to take to the airwaves and speak about an ex-client.

In all fairness...her ex-attorney would say anything at this juncture. A complaint was filed against her and she responded. There doesn't really have to be any truth to what she says. The burdon of proof has to be on the complainant. I've read here in this forum much more than I've posted...but I have to say no one and I mean no one knows what KP promised CS. I'm sure she promised a lot. IIRC she stated as much in early interviews. Let's remember she filed the motions. If she believed there was no merit to them then she should have advised her client of that. Instead, IMO she no doubt promised her the moon...and came up way short of delivering. JMHO

PS- IMO it's tacky for an attorney to take to the airwaves to speak about an ex-client. She should have taken the high road and risen above this.

So far you have the only posts that I've read that really seem to have HaLeigh at heart. No disrespect to ANYONE cause I can't read any further tonight :sick: so I'm sure there are many others that have posted that do too. That said....IMVHO it seems for SO MANY that this whole nightmare..you know 'the fact that Haleigh is missing, gone..disappeared into thin air' (it seems) has become about Ron vs Crystal or Crystal vs Ron, whichever ....
I've maintained from the beginning that BOTH were probably still using drugs (just a matter of to what extent)...for those who don't understand it, count your blessings, because it's a LIFESTYLE! ..and one that once someones in it, it doesn't change often, quickly or easily!

Regardless, it's MHO that the drug use of these "parents" had nothing to do with HaLeighs disappearance except for perhaps state of mind while under the influence AND that Ron and Misty know exactly what happened to HaLeigh AND that Crystal and company had nothing to do with it. ALL MY OPINION....She MAY be just as bad as I believe Ron to be concerning drug use, she MAY NOT have really cared about getting custody of HaLeigh, she MAY HAVE been responsible for HaLeigh missing Drs. appts because she overslept, etc. I have NO idea and to be honest I don't care because I don't believe that she had anything to do with HaLeigh not being at home on this cold damp night tucked tightly into her bed. THAT'S what I care about!..

Well I just have to consider the source. I personally have never trusted KP, just my opinion of her when she came in guns a-blazing. I know there are plenty of rumors that Crystal might be using drugs but I personally don't think it would be fair to believe the rumors without proof. KP is a proven liar and it would further her cause more to make claims against Crystal. Just my honest opinion there you know that.

For that person from the bar to insert all that in that letter you know they had to see the proof. Not a fan of Kim at all, but she did say that she provided evidence for everything alleged in the complaint and it was open records, so maybe someone will get what is available.

No offense, but did you read the letter from the Bar to CS? Apparently in their investigation, KP submitted enough evidence against the things that CS is claiming that they dismissed the complaint. She was accused by CS of not using due diligence when filing the support modification, to which KP gave all the reasons she could not file a frivolous claim. I don't think KP had any need to make up things about CS, I think the reality was more than enough, IMO.

I think in the beginning, before KP knew the extent of CS's problems, she believed she could get custody of Jr. but as she grew to know CS she realized that was not going to be possible. I am NO KP fan, but that is not her fault. IMO.

Rant away if necessary. I can take it....lol. I have to tell you that I did an awful lot of reading and googling and going over a lot of information that the wonderful minds on this forum had found and posted before me. Of course there were moments that I have gone back and forth, but for the most part I have tried to give the benefit of the doubt to Ronald and Crystal because that is the courtesy that I hope people would extend to me had I woke up to a nightmare such as this. Don't think for a second that there haven't been moments that I have lost hope or told myself that I have to give up. I remember when Ronald married Misty, gosh I was enflamed...lol. When Crystal did that interview with Jr I was confused and had to give myself a little time out...lol.

These are human beings that do human things, while there is so much to give me pause over I just have to keep the faith and stick to my guns about these two parents. I don't want to say anything that I would regret but more importantly I believe with all my heart that Haleigh will be found and I don't want to put words out there that I don't have the power to take back. If it turns out one of them were involved, I will have all the time I need to question their actions and discuss the relevance of their choices.. I just try to be honest and open.

As far as your question about KP and Art H, I am not sure. Did he come on the scene around the same time as KP? I might have to research that angle. ; ) Keep the faith

Cajun, do you think that the public having access to view those records would lead to Haleigh? I mean when I think about the information that we have seen today, it really is just a confirmation of sorts of what some people already suspected. We read the court documents about the custody hearings and I honestly thought it was pretty black and white. The judge made a decision and both parties had to honor that decision.

As far as the drug issues with Crystal, I have to keep an open mind and wait for more facts to come. I really tried to look for something in Crystal's behavior that might imply drug use and I honestly didn't see it. I am not an expert I am just giving my opinion here. As far as the custody hearing, I truly hope that Crystal has someone that can be a positive influence on her and she understands that as a mother , her love and role in her childrens lives is not at all diminished because she see's the children every two weeks. I have said it is not always about the quantity of time that we spend with our children, it is the quality we make of that time.

I'm not responding to what CS did...I'm responding to what KP said. Hypothetically, she could have said anything. The burden of proof was on CS and she didn't meet it. It's very difficult for an "ordinary" person to get a lawyer sanctioned. Now if one attorney brings a complaint against another...that's a different story.
