So right. According to Daily Mail today, BC was not to leave court house until he gave up his passport. I too think he has more than one, JMO. As I understood it he can take the ankle monitor on and off at will.....all these special privelages because he was once a star, is old and has health problems. The last two is per the Judge.

Very unusual to have a second U.S. passport:

https://passportinfo.com/second-passport/

You are eligible to get a second passport if you have a valid US passport and one of the following conditions apply:

  • You have two upcoming international trips, with visas required for the second trip, or
  • You have Israel stamps in your passport and have travel planned to a country that may deny entry, such as Iran or Syria.
These are also called “second valid passports” and issued for four years validity.

Do I feel BC is guilty? Without a doubt.

However, I don't see celebrating because, assuming he goes to prison, taxpayer money will be funding him possibly for the rest of his life. The average yearly amount spent for state felons is between $20,000 and $40,000. Assuming he has health problems, the amount will be more. He will soon be 81 so this is a definite possibility. He will also get - at taxpayer cost - education and training.
Of course, BC will appeal. More cost to taxpayers - about $20,000.

Is BC worth this? Absolutely not. What is society gaining through prison except peace of mind knowing this man is being punished? There is no answer. It's just that when you analyze the situation, it doesn't pay to celebrate. It costs.

I just wish there was a way to make him financially responsible to society for millions rather than take care of him for the rest of his life at taxpayer expense.

Bill Cosby is likely receiving about $30,000 each year in Social Security benefit payments. The SS payments would stop during his incarceration.
I hope he does some prison time.

View attachment 133473 Bill Cosby is one of the most notorious serial rapists in human history.

Paula, this is indeed the bottom line, isn't it? More than anything else, what this famous malefactor male did during his lifetime, Bill Cosby is now a convicted felon earning him the title of being the nation's most prolific serial rapist.

Bill Cosby's accused of assaulting and raping more women than the East Area Rapist.

Bill Cosby is accused of raping five dozen women. Looks like this: 60 women

The East Area Rapist aka The Night Stalker aka The Golden State Killer and formally now known of as Joseph James DeAngelo, who terrorized neighborhoods in California for decades, during the seventies and eighties, is accused of raping 45 women [and murdering at least 12 people].

With Benadryl and Quaaludes being involved in the BC sexual assaults, aren't the rapes similar, in some way, to necrophilia since the women could not respond?

Since when could ankle bracelet monitors be put on and taken off by the criminal? As I remember they are hooked up to a phone inside the prisoner's house and proximity to the phone determines whether an alarm is sent. Thus, people with a large yard may not even walk to the outer perimeter of their property.

What happens to reruns of The Cosby Show?

There is an answer, a very simple one. Its that he serves his sentence out just like any other individual, no matter the age or anything else. Society gains tremendous peace of mind when the laws are followed. Unfortunately cost is incurred but it is the system nonetheless. It would be a great injustice to not adhere to the law.

Even if he did flee to a country with no extradition treaty with the US, he would not want to live in those places and if he did flee, I hope that his bank account would be frozen.

He's 80 years old and not well. Any sentence will be a life sentence. Camille is also old, why should she divorce him, they've been together forever. Now, if he goes to jail, she will be alone and old. Sad. It is all so sad.

I am not victim blaming, but this women went to the home of a married man when his wife was not present and voluntarily took pills he offered to her? Ladies, please, be smart. This is how predators work.

So he is walking free right now. He said he has no plane...we don’t know that as fact yet. Just him saying so.

Did the Judge ask for his passport?
I can tell you that unless things have changed, Cosby not only has a plane, he has 2 planes.
How do I know this?
Being a pilot myself, I was in a small airport in Turner Falls Ma, a while back, not far from the home that Cosby owns in Shelburne Falls, when a Pilatus (large single engine aircraft) landed. I was talking to the Airport Manager at the time, and he told me it was Cosbys plane. About 10 minutes later a BMW drove up and Cosby got out of the car and came inside, talked to us for about 15 minutes, and took off. He was flying to Manchester NH to board his Gulf Stream (business jet), heading to Los Angeles. The reason for the two planes, was, the smaller airports like Turner Falls have shorter runways not long enough for a Gulf Stream to land.

I've read that the Gulfstream is named Camille, and the Pilatus is named Billy. But maybe he sold them recently. ?

Just a curiosity-why did Bill C say “he doesn’t have a plane”, as opposed to “I don’t have a plane” when referring to himself?

I thought that that was a bid odd too. Who is he?

I wonder how extensive of a sexual assessment Cosby is required to do?
Something tells me he wouldn't appreciate a PPG - essentially a penis polygraph.

Holy manoodles!!!! Never thought I would see the day. Kudos to the Jury. Well done. Per CNN he cant leave his home and orders GPS tracking.

Too bad GPS and home confinement won't prevent a suicide.

Going for dimentia illness now? How would that affect the sentence and or further appeals? Start being confused in court and carry on from there?! Watch, wait and see what happens next.
