Free Bill Cosby.
Andrea agreed to the settlement years ago.

Cosby was booked into Montgomery County Correctional Facility and transferred to Pennsylvania's State Correctional Institute at Phoenix on Tuesday evening.
Before the sentencing, Constand wrote a five-page letter to the court explaining how Cosby's assault -- and the ensuing legal battle -- had changed her life. As a Temple University employee, she looked up to Cosby, a Temple trustee, as a mentor and friend. He used that position of power and trust, as well as his public persona as television father figure Dr. Huxtable, to take advantage of her, she testified at trial.
The judge was bias for not granting bail during the appeal process.
In Pennsylvania, where that guilty verdict came down, that incident was from 2004 and the case was reopened in 2015, happening within the state's 12-year time frame for prosecuting criminal cases.
Statue of limitations discussion from April 27, 2018 (just after the conviction).
VERIFY: What was the statue of limitations in the Cosby case?

Well in Philadelphia the rapper Meek Mills is out on bail during his appeal process. That is the law in Pennsylvania. Any appeals are done from prison.
Statement read for Cosby's wife, Camille. See full text here: Read Camille Cosby's statement on husband Bill Cosby's conviction
Agree. The entire case was based off the civil suit deposition that Cosby did after being reassured by that D.A that no criminal charges would ever be filled.I didn't keep up with the details of this although it appears the judge failed for allowing the jury to ignore matters of law with regards to the statute of limitations having tolled and expired. The jury isn't to decide matters of law, only decide on facts. The judge is responsible for determining and upholding matters of law and even if the jury rejects that, override them as the 13th juror.
None of my opinions in this thread are condoning of the acts of BC or Weinstein. Both committed horrible acts. However, judges and prosecutors should not be allowed to ignore any pesky laws that they deem to be undermining of their agendas.
Our system of justice and legal redress was never designed to reward those who do not act in a timely manner.
Almost all crimes and tortuous acts are subject to a well established time limits for which causes against may be brought.
Centuries old Maxim of Law speak to this directly:
Vigilantibus et non dormientibus succurrunt - Laws come to the help of the vigilant, not of the sleepy
Lex dilationes abhorret - The law abhors delays
To overlook and ignore this error of law indicates an indifference to our laws driven by mob rule and likely political agendas.
I am sad today over Bill Cosby's conviction and sentencing.
Not because I believe him to be innocent, but because he has ruined so many good memories and laughter for me and countless others.
As well as, all of his co-stars and writers that will lose their hard earned deserved residual income from his actions.
I really loved his show and his specials about family life.
It is such a loss of innocence for so many.
Do I believe he should go to prison and lose his rich comfortable life?
Absolutely, but I am still sad.
RIP Bill Cosby, your fake persona is now officially dead.
Im just surprised that Andreas parents seemed so shocked and emotional while acting like they never benefitted from the civil suit by Andrea decades ago. JmoI suppose she is fine with Cosby's own admission in the police interview where he owns up to giving the woman drugs to "calm them" after giving them alcohol and I guess she is so naive that she doesnt want to believe that he would have inappropriate sexual acts with those drugged out woman.
Ok then. Please just go away Misses Cosby.
