Millardair had appearance of a Fixed Base Operation for airplanes to stay short-term was wasn't licensed for it.

^ Just thinking on these two tweets today. TD took pains to show that there was no aviation business going on and only DM's toys were being worked on. Was the FBO part of the cover story? Was MB trying to make it look like it had been an FBO, and not a chop shop, all along? If LE are still investigating, how does this fit in?

I think the Crown was trying to knock down the notion that DM ever seriously knew how to do anything related to the aviation industry. Even his mother was running an unlicensed FBO after his arrest because she didn't know a license was needed? And I think we all suspect she tried to do things to help her son's defense. To make it look like he was actually in the process of starting a viable company. Which we also know would only have happened with others like SH actually doing the work.

Well they were breaking the law by having planes in there: they weren't licenced.

They were breaking the law by having stolen goods in there.

It seems if MB were going to make a go at the FBO, she'd do it all legal. As it stands it seems like a rush cover-up. Staging, yeah: making it look like something it was not

If MS is needing an appreciative glance, then I suggest that he just man up even at this late date and tell the truth and if the gun is still missing he should be leading a parade of officers right to it.....enough of the nonsense.

We are on the tab for that amazing lawyer who I have no doubt will do his best for MS even if the result is not his freedom from just punishment.
There is likely little he can bargain for at this stage of the game but if he were to come clean....show a little genuine remorse, go on the stand & tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth....he just may find himself in a cleaner, kinder facility than what I think likely awaits DM .....

That would be a measure for MS! But I doubt he would do that.

We must remember that the Crown has so much evidence against the accused that it's not necessary for them to be ultra aggressive with witnesses, IMO. The defense on the other hand is literally in a fight for their clients' lives and finally TD makes that point extremely clear in his cross of SS today.

Excellent point. I don't know if MS told LE anything. I think that piece of information came from MM (who he may not have been honest with either).

I can see where it looks like I meant MS told LE the story about the gun. I certainly could have worded that better. I meant assuming that MS told LE at some point where he actually put the gun, as opposed to allegedly telling that to MM. Because I can't be sure that even she was telling the truth when she told LE that or that he told her the truth I suppose.

So what I meant was, that is to assume MS told LE the truth about where the gun is, and they were unable to locate it.

They don't always sit in the prisoner's box. DM and MS are sitting at a table behind their lawyers since there was not enough room to sit at the same table as their lawyers.

Legal Aid isn't generous and my understanding is that it covers a fraction (and definitely not ALL) of the costs.
