Just to take my post above one step further.....
If things happened that way, where SS actually knew about AJ's concern on the evening of the 8th, rather than the 9th, when AJ actually discussed it with him.... that could explain SS's anger and reaction... because he had already enlightened DM about the situation, and then the following day (the 9th), when he actually took the photo, called CS, and called a family meeting about it.. SS knew his goose was cooked, and DM's goose. It was by then already too late to 'warn' DM that it really was happening, as opposed to just a 'maybe he's onto you' type of thing.. since he knew he had photos, and had already made the call for the VIN, etc., and actually knew for SURE that it was TB's truck. It would explain a lot about his reaction, imho.
