Maybe he didn't get retained for this trial because he had to return to the jungles to find more product for his other business and just didn't have the time? ;)

I asked in the wee hours of the morn this morn and I don't think anyone responded, unless I miss their answer. Sorry if I missed it. Has it been reported where in the hangar that camera is located? It might not have even been an outside door they were coming in through, but a door or an area within the hangar. Along the north end of the building is where I imagine offices, washrooms and other rooms are, correct?. MOO.

I know that rolling garage door on the west side of the building, near the south end seems to be the preferred area for entering and exiting the building, and that vehicles were driven up in that direction so I'm wondering if that is where it is?

Here is a pic of that rolling garage door and the other regular doors in that area. And this pic is taken from the site where RK was trying to lease the hangar so I assume the pic was taken when DM still owned it. The google street view from May 2013 also shows this rolling garage door up with vehicles outside it.

Now here are the back doors in the vicinity of where the incinerator was parked. We also know these doors were used on May 9th when DM did the u turn to go back and pick something up to put in the trailer.

I saw your question in the wee hours but I wanted to check pictures of the exterior walls of the hangar to see where the windows and especially the doors were located. It is difficult at first glance until you take into account that there has been a lot of construction of interior walls etc....then it makes sense that the exterior door they entered did not spill them immediately into the hangar proper.
It appears that they have come down a hall or around a corner or sorts and they turn left into the body of the hangar---in some shots you can see a large loading door to the right of the figures walking. That configuration of a man door and a loading door off to the right fits the configuration of either one of two loading doors and two man doors both in the north wall. The first set of man door and loading door is about the middle of the north wall......he second set is near the right side of the north wall....If there were offices nearby, I'd chose the set nearest the middle where there are also a few smaller windows. The set of doors on the right side would seem to be nearest that area where people were observed going in and out during the operation of the incinerator. Hope this helps...

Just finished in time to catch great photos posted by Kamille...the last photo is of the north wall that I have described...you can ey see the doors and windows :)

Big day tomorrow...Anyone interested in laying bets or setting up a pool for how many interruptions we are going to get before lunch??? :groucho:
Can't imagine there'll be any arguments before the SS cross by TD. I'm sure P & S are looking forward to it. Personally I'm curious where TD is going to go with SS, if he goes anywhere at all. So far, TD's cross examinations have been short and to the point. Are we really expecting anything different tomorrow? Perhaps more clarification that DM called the shots? That MS was really a non item in DM's day to day affairs? Or that SS would do anything that DM asked him to do?

TD is really there for MS's defence and I can't remember SS saying anything incriminating about MS. I think the re-examination by the Crown may prove to be more interesting, especially if they think SS is twisting anything. And of course- DM will be taking notes as usual.MOO

Aside for SS, does anyone know who's expected to be on the stand tomorrow?

In that video when they both walk in, it seems that they're looking for something. At first their attention is to the right, then MS looks over to the left and points himself in that direction as if he's walking towards something. DM follows a second later with the flashlight. JMHO

Last week Alex Pierson mentioned that a firearms specialist was intended to be a witness ....if such a person actually makes it to the stand I think it may be in connection with the toolbox exhibit that we saw recently.
And it has been so long since we have had a court day without legal arguments that I can't remember what it is like to be without them. Personally I am looking forward to both Dungey and the Crown finish up with the Shaner.

This is when court transcripts would come in handy. Which one is correct; DM got the truck in Kitchener or DM bought the truck in Kitchener? OK, we know DM didn't get or buy the truck in Kitchener, but you know what I mean. See my first sentence. SS will likely say DM got the truck in Kitchener if asked, because if he's smart enough to figure it out, there was no bill of sale and ownership that exchanged hands. Then again, SS will just play dumb and say he can't recall.

What is totally laughable to me is, according to SS, DM told him he drove the Dodge truck from Kitchener to the hangar sitting on a pail...again th [/I]

Oh my, when I read this "sitting on a pail" before I thought they meant it was brought in on a trailer called a pail. Did he mean an actual bucket?

Here's another shot of that side door being used in May 2013. Not sure if the Google car went by before or after the 10th. No police presence makes me think before.

Thought maybe that was SS's van and AJ's pickup? (no idea if AJ had a pickup)

MOO

Yes, you are correct. Confirming this pic was taken before May 10 for sure. The same pic source... panned south... there is the black 5th wheel trailer on the apron.

Why do defence lawyers have so much leeway to restrict evidence being used at trial?? If it is relevant to the case, show it. If it makes the accused look worse, too bad. An innocent person would have nothing to hide. Tim Bosma certainly is not able to tell his story, so why can't ALL evidence be used to tell story of his abduction and death? All the legal arguments in this case are to protect the accused. Sad.

I don't think anyone would pay a defence lawyer to send them down the river.

Similar to the 5th Amendment in the United States Constitution, Section 13 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms is the right to not self-incriminate, and one of the basic tenets of law is that "It is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent party suffer".[William Blackstone, Commentaries on the Laws of England, 1760]

Anyone care to speculate what the two accused were doing from 12:19am until 2:30am (2 hours 11 minutes) while TB's truck sat outside the hangar? Was TB's truck moved to the south end of the hangar (12:35am) because there was water supply at that end? Six minutes later DM's SUV is also moved to the south end, but a minute later the SUV leaves. Where did one or both of the perps go during that 30 minutes? To see if there was a garden hose outside at that "nearby bungalow?" To see if a "DIY" car wash had video surveillance? Anyone familiar with that area and know if there is DIY car wash nearby, within a 15 minute drive?

Just speculating they may have gone to get propane. There is a filling station on Victoria and can be done within 30 min. Just not sure style of filling and hours to know if it would be accessible that late at night.

Looks like SS's van and possibly AJ's truck?

I would like to know the time of day he called Tony on the 9th to cancel the paint job.

Not sure if it is related or not. On the 8th at 12:32 SS texted DM saying "Hey Dell can you ask Charlie to text me. Got a new phone."

Perhaps this got DM thinking about the possibly long forgotten app on SS's phone and what he may have seen. DM may have thought about it overnight on the 8th and then canceled the paint job on the 9th. MOO

And to think that WM bought every inch of concrete and steel in that massive building with his life- just so his loving son would have a place to park his toys. MOO
