Boulder police chief exonerates Fleet and Priscilla White in death of JonBenet Ramsey

Also worth considering is the wording of the gj's statements. In what should have left no doubts about outsiders being involved, instead left a little wiggle room for certain people to manipulate the phrasing to fit their theories involving friends, pedophile rings etc. Probably, the Ws are sick of their name being dragged through the mud and don't want to be associated with these rumors. moo

You think they'd sue!

You think they'd sue!

I agree with Madeline. I hope the FW's sue anyone and everyone that they can. If it goes to court, all the better.

Correct. When you put a member on "Ignore" you will no longer see their posts. All you will be missing is nonsense you don't want to read anyway. Go to User CP, Scroll down list of options on left of page. Easy peasy.

I love the "ignore" feature- but be warned....you won't see their posts when they are posted, but you will still see them if they are "quoted" in someone else's post. You'll see the quote.

I know......In that case, scroll & roll and "poof" they're gone!

what I would really like to know someday from FW is what questions exactly were asked when the Ramsey "investigators" (ahem, damage control unit) paid him a visit right after the murder

  • #87
this fact alone tells me FW witnessed something very important (IMO re JR's behavior and him finding JB).the fact that the Ramsey team went straight to FW to breathe down his neck instead of looking for the intruder says it all,no?

  • #88
they didn't even lie about it....they all admitted that the Ramsey team (investigators, profilers, etc) were a damage control unit and were NOT hired to look for some non-existent killer on the loose...it was a DEFENCE teak from day one

I have always wondered about what this means. I still don't know but I suspect (just suspect) that FW knows something that he has not revealed to LE, for whatever reason. JR knew what FW knew and that he was vulnerable to FW...about something. But it wasn't just JR who was vulnerable, it was FW also. A shared guilt...about something. The visit from the lawyers was a warning to FW to keep his mouth shut about what he knew or things would get very hard for him. I think FW got that message and he has never divulged his secret publicly, but we saw evidence of that secret in his behavior toward JR later. If I were the BPD, I would not be declaring anyone innocent of this crime. To do that before you know what happened is just stupid.

We've explained it upthread about 13 times. If you don't want to "get it," well that is not our problem.

OK, I am really off of the carousal this time. I refuse to be baited into saying something that will get me a time out.

Just because you explained it in a way that makes sense to you, does not mean that is the truth or fact. Just your opinion on the subject. We all have opinions on the subject.

It just makes no sense. In the article it is also described as oddly timed and questions the purpose it serves as there is no real reason for it. You are cleared or not. They were cleared. 2 times before now. There is no reason to bring it up again.

Should anyone question it, You just pull up the quote from the chief and print it with a pr statement.. The end.

That they went so far to request to be cleared again, there has to be a motive, a reason for it.

I too believe that it would be awesome if FW came forth and did an in depth interview. I think it may help shed light on things.

Kind of makes you wonder why they don't??

That's suspicious? Maybe they knew they couldn't win against JR's extremely effective attorneys?

I think it's absolutely shameful and absurd to question why the White's chose NOT to sue the all-powerful Ramsey team.

Oh my word. We are not allowed to ponder anything? I am not accusing them of a thing. Just wondering why they had not sued.

Since none of us have the answer to that all that we can offer is opinion.

I don't believe for a moment that FW nor PW had anything at all to do with this crime. To me at best they are after the fact witnesses. So I am not sitting here trying to imply anything.. Just wondering...

Well. I do apologize for assuming. It seemed strange to 'ponder' why they chose not to sue.

On what basis would the Rs be sued?

I do believe you're the one who said "You think they'd sue" so you would have to tell me the answer to that.

The W's daughter and JBR were good friends. I wonder if JB said something to her friend, who mentioned it to her parents? If this happened, I guess it would be ignored, as it came from a child to a parent. Could that have been the reason PW wanted to have a discussion with PR?

I'd forgotten about that! OMG, and I want to know what happened at the Paughs also after the funeral...

RBBM: They are also "before the fact" witnesses. Did you forget that JBR ate her last meal (not including the pineapple because it was eaten at home, IMO) at their house?
