I just saw a Post from Scandi on another thread. She said she heard 1996 Christmas. It over folks Karr is not the one.

I think this case is a very long way from a slam dunk, despite what Rita Crosby thinks she found out about Mary Lacy. This is such a strange situation, and JMK has been rehearsing his "in love" with Jon Benet for so long, it is very hard to know what the truth is at this point. It still might be one those proverbial "wild goose chases."

I don't think CA has dropped their charges, but I do believe they have willingly taken a back seat to CO.

The charges that may be dropped are the CO ones..the only for sure thing is CA. If his wife proves his innocence thru an alibi then he shoudnt even make it to denver..unless they hold him there for questioning and charge him with mischief or whatever they can charge him with.
He will remain in jail thot because he skipped out on his charges..he will get more time for that and he may be considered a more serious offender until they can sort out fact from fiction..and I mean that even if he has nothing to do with the JB murder.
He may be in jail along time as they investigate his relationship to many children-all children he has come in contact with over the years.
If he is shown to be a mulitple offender he will be locked up for a very long time-especially if he is saying he killed kids-they cant take a chance that he wont take that step some day.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if JMK is spirited out of LA today, without the media being at all aware of it. Whether he can arrive in CO without media awareness still remains to be seen. This three ring circus needs to end, the sooner, the better.

But lets see how long have we known about Karr? And still there is not one little bit of news about someone coming forward saying he was in Colo whn JBR was murdered. Do not get me wrong I want who ever did this caught and given the DP.But this one is to convient with PR just passing away 2 months ago.

When was the youngest son born? In the video of the Karrs standing outside, the youngest son looks to be quite young.....being held by Karr.

Karr looks very strange, even back then.

On MSNBC they just showed the clip again and it is from the 80's when he had a friend get married. I saw no Christmas decorations. And the gal from MSNBC slipped in it was '87 but then someone else in the room said something to her almost off sound and she relied back. yes it was. So I still don't think this is proof of anything.

BANGKOK, Thailand Aug 21, 2006 (AP)— A suspect in the killing of JonBenet Ramsey visited a clinic to have facial hair removed permanently because he wanted a sex-change operation, a doctor said Monday.

John Mark Karr had his sideburns and hair under his chin removed with lasers at the Siam Swan Cosmetic Clinic and its branches in downtown Bangkok during four sessions from March to July, said Dr. Setthakarn Attakonpan.

"He wanted to prepare himself to do a sex-change operation," said Setthakarn, a dermatologist.

Karr emerged as a suspect in the case after telling reporters in Thailand that he was with 6-year-old JonBenet when she died in the basement of her home on Dec. 26, 1996, but that her death was an accident.

U.S. officials have been silent about what Karr told them during interrogations.

Then he needs to ask for a refund 'cause he's still got the same sideburns from 1987.

Buzz, I saw kids in the picture. I'm assuming they are his, one was a baby that he was holding.

If at all necessary, CA can lock him up right now, pending his Child trial. No bail, flight risk. Plenty of time to investigate anything else The CA charges are, in the "now famous words" of Atty General, Bill Lockyer, a slam dunk.
