British Bella May Culley 18, missing from Thailand, arrested in Georgia, May 2025

Mr Cook's four adult children were left nothing in his £340,000 will, with all of his estate being left to his 'too perfect' second wife, exiled Laotian princess Somsangouane Baldinger.

Todua told Radio Free Europe (RFE): 'When the accusation was presented, given that it was a foreign environment for her, it was her first time communicating with law enforcement officers, we agreed on such a position that she should exercise her right to remain silent in order to develop herself.'

Law enforcement is expected to contact the suspect 'in a few days' in her detention jail.

'If she wishes to cooperate with the investigation in terms of providing certain information regarding the accusation, this will be agreed upon later,' reported RFE citing the lawyer.

Todua said that Culley's father Neil was flying to Tbilisi, where she was detained after a drugs haul was allegedly found in her suitcase after arriving from Thailand.

It is possible that a separate legal team will be hired.

Not sure what she expected the consequences would be!!

What has she got herself mixed up with?! At 18 years old.
I am just wondering if she had found herself a gangster boy friend or possibly sugar daddy who was influencing her.

Could be she is very entitled and has never had to face the consequences of her actions.
I imagine she is still expecting her father /lawyer/ British authorities to rescue her.

Seems from social media this trip isn't the first visit to Thailand.

^ terrified yes, but confused?? Confused about what?
It's not confusing to smuggle drugs in your suitcase on an airline and get caught.
I haven't flown with checked luggage in years, but I do remember always being asked at check-in whether I packed my own luggage and if it was under my control the whole time. I wonder how BMC answered.

I suspect that is exactly the situation

Seems from social media this trip isn't the first visit to Thailand.
The family does seem to have multiple links to SE Asia, ie the Loatian second wife of the Labour MP great-grandfather and the fact that her father is reported to work off-shore (presumably in the oil or gas industry) in Vietnam. It's possible, therefore that previous visits to Thailand could have been family meet-ups rather than her going alone - especially given she is only 18.

Her Dad lives in Vietnam which is probably why she's been to Thailand before.

Also cannabis is completely legal in Thailand

That's how long they are keeping her after her arrest a week ago while charges are pending etc. It doesn't mean she's already been kept for 2 months.

She was still posting on social media in early May.
Thank you, I must of misread.

"The family of British drugs mule suspect Bella Culley
has been blocked from visiting her in prison after they landed in Georgia.

Father Neil Culley, 49, and auntie Kerrie Culley, 51,
touched down in Tbilisi yesterday
and pushed for an emotional reunion with the 18-year-old.

Legal sources said
the relatives tried to visit on Wednesday and again today,
but were not allowed because the prison director has not signed relevant paperwork.

Her father and auntie
have been locked in talks with British Embassy officials since their arrival
and are not speaking to the press."

Yep,
A lot is happening behind the scenes.

I wish DM stops presentation of her tik tok images
as they really frighten me.
What is wrong with the girl's lips???
Not to mention
her writhing like a cobra?? 😲

Aaaaargh!

By the way,
this looks like a solid, old fashioned prison.

Ms Culley appears to have held a number of directorships, including two companies with links to China.

She is listed as the director of a firm called Lujamen Limited, whose activity is described as “agents specialised in the sale of other particular products”.

Another listing shows Ms Culley was previously registered as director of Sunrain Limited – described as “retail sale via mail order houses or via internet”.

Records also showed the nursing student was registered as the sole director of a window repair and carpentry business in Billingham, Teesside, in March.

She was missing, she's now located.
Reporting my own post. In my opinion there's no point in continuing this thread.

I’ll be intrigued to see her travel history - as im of the opinion this was not her first rodeo I believe she has done it before.

There’s pictures of her with huge wads of money - these people dont tend to pay much upfront.

I think it can move to Crimes in the News section

Rather than missing persons.

The prosecutor asked for 55 days to find evidence before the case is brought to trial and the BBC understands this could be extended by a further seven months. At the end of a pre-trial hearing on Tuesday Miss Culley told the court she was pregnant.

Her lawyer, Ia Todua, said police wanted to establish where 12kg (26lbs) of marijuana and 2kg (4.4lbs) of hashish had come from and whether she was "planning to hand it over to someone".
