Exactly. If someone feels enough for you to call you "my love" they don't then turn around and treat you like a piece of meat, referring to you as "riding" them. And on the flip side, if a guy is that much of a pig, he usually wouldn't feel enough for a woman to call her "love". It's really too bizarre.

I just read this on the Fox News site and immediately thought that DP and Brodsky are up to it again. The two letters didn't seem convincing, so they're trying a new tactic. With the media quiet now on the case, and nothing from the grand jury, they're building some "reasonable doubt."

Isn't there some kind of law about making up false evidence? If they can trace this back to Drew's home computers bet he'll say the kids did it and he wasn't aware.

If he was trying to set her up he could have just drove around with a laptop until he until he found a unsecured connection and sent it. I read a story about some guy who the police arrested for child . He denied doing it and in the end LE found he had a unsecured connection and the guy that lived behind him was the guilty party. It would not be hard to find unsecure connections in a area with a lot of businesses. They leave them open so sales people and clients can use their laptops without the hassle of entering a key code.

Drew could have sent this to Stacey when she was still alive. She could have saved it (planning to have it traced or as evidence against him). There's no doubt in my mind that this message was sent by Drew. He either thinks that the American public is really stupid; or he just cannot stand to be out of the limelight for very long. It kind of reminds me of Dennis Rader (BTK). He got caught because he just couldn't stand fading off into the sunset.

I can't STAND it when people text in "broken English" or "abbreviated English"! There's no excuse for not always using proper grammar, spelling, and syntax! :doh:

NOT NECESSARILY. Most businesses with competent IT people will most certainly secure their wifi connections!

FYI: Best practices dictate that connections never be left open so anyone and everyone can access the network. Secure connections are set up using either WEP, WAP, or WAP2 encryption and require a login/password or key (that they can SAVE to their laptop so they never have to enter it again).

ETA: A lot of HOME users do not encrypt their wifi connections because they don't know how to. So it could be a good possibility that if DP has a laptop with wifi, he could piggyback off of a neighbor's wifi connection or someone farther away if he drove and parked somewhere. It would be interesting to see who's MAC address corresponds to the message sent via Sprint/Nextel's website. Because the IP address is futile if someone piggybacked, the MAC address (actual address tied to each and every network card manufactured and cannot be changed) ALSO attaches itself to network traffic, as does the IP.

It was noted that this particular text message could've been sent via a website, using a 'real' keyboard; so, the person who sent it wouldn't need to use abbreviations like they'd have done if using a phone keypad.
