The sad reality is, that unless this is ISIS, we will all have forgotten about it next week because we'll all be too busy talking about the next mass shooting. And we all know that the next mass shooting won't be more than a fortnight away.

I don't think it's far fetched that someone could get a family member, significant other, or close friend to help them shoot up their workplace.

I agree. Though right now I think we are in the minority on this.

My gut from the beginning said work place dispute. Still does. I suspect he has planned this for a while. Got a girlfriend or whatever involved.
