Well, nothing really. It would hardly be accurate to say it started today, even if this does turn out to be Islamic extremism, because that wouldn't have started today. The World Trade Centre was bombed in 1993, then destroyed by hijacked planes in 2001, then there was the army base shooting and then the Boston bombing.

Let's face facts here, the American muslim population is just as much vulnerable to radicalisation as any European muslim population.

Or any human population. We have a distressing tendency to lose our marbles, as a species in general. Religious fanaticism of any flavor certainly doesn't help. But we still have no idea if that had anything to do with this.

This is just beginning of what is yet to come.

Video showing the audio of shooting about the time of the chase(?) and police chase. No gore that I saw, but adult language used extensively. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=40c_1449109810

This guy seems to be having too much fun. It bugs me. And seriously...he was dumb to be standing outside during this.

Sorry, the link I posted earlier was the wrong one.

http://shootingtracker.com/wiki/Mass_Shootings_in_2015

That's a list and you can save it to a spreadsheet.

"Here at the Mass Shooting Tracker, we count the number of people shot rather than the number people killed because, "shooting" means "people shot"."

I am getting an error that says - [h=2]Error 508. Resource Limit Is Reached[/h]
I have a feeling gang shootings or something must be included. Because I haven't heard of any other mass-type shootings in my city this year. Gang shootings are also horrible. But I don't really put them into the same category.

LE think only 2 involved in the shooting but more involved with planning etc. FBI: Not ruling out terrorism (PC)

What does the TSA have to do with this? By current accounts, guy graduated from high school in California and was a government employee. He didn't just step off a plane.
TSA wouldn't have anything to do with this. However, if he had been traveling back and forth to other countries, it should be on the FBI's radar. Usually, they start with the Internet here and then travel abroad, if it's affiliated with ISIS or another type of terrorist group. Not saying this happened though.

We were discussing terrorism !

estrangement is common with a lot of people. I would agree that it sounds like this guy's dad isn't the best source for info since they have obviously been out of touch for a while.

More like very negative relationship with parents that can lead to estrangement.

I think we have slightly more than no idea - we have some idea. We don't have proof yet, but we have some idea.

And of course anybody of any race can convert into any religion, and become extremist enough to kill in its name. Which is the very reason why these high toned political debates about which country to bomb are so incredibly backward. The warmongers all seem to think they're Winston Churchill standing up to the Nazis, but in reality they just don't have the guts to see that the modern danger they're facing is an ideology, not a country.

Just because the killer is a Muslim, it doesn't mean he is part of Isis. I find it perplexing how so many are in denial that this could be a case of disgruntled employee.

I don't really see how this shooting is different than all the other past shootings but people are treating it like is. It's like people are desensitized to white men shooting up places, but when a Muslim does it, even if he was a disgruntled employee, there's all this talk about Isis and terrorism.

Humm,

These agencies do particpate in custudy cases. Pondering if , the agency supported keeping a family member apart or away from one another. Beleive me you do get threatened!

ANd we have become aware of the fact that there are issues with visitation --posted earlier ??

just a notion

Yes sure. Disgruntled employees always bring female accomplices along, and they always tend to be devout muslims too.

...dressed in tactical gear, with ak47's and explosives.

This has been going on at least since 1966 in Austin, Texas.

Yeah. Mass shootings are not new. Funny thing, almost all of them are committed by white men. Someone having a Muslim name does not make them foreign or a terrorist. This may just be a workplace dispute. Or a weirdly personal terrorist attack that really doesn't make sense. Neither of them make sense. http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-san-bernardino-shooting-live-updates-htmlstory.html

Reisinger said she remembered Farook attending last year's holiday party, held in the same conference room.

She heard from colleagues that the department held a baby shower for Farook and that he recently returned from paternity leave.

Reisinger left the job in May. She said the department was in turmoil, with many workers leaving over the last year because of problems with management.

KTLA live on the news just now, stated the 3rd person ran from SUV and was apprehended. They further state that they don't know if he was involved. Hmm. <modsnip>

Yeah, his dad seemed displeased that his wife asked for a divorce and got to keep their son, like the son chose sides? Something's not right there.
