Robert Merle Harrod has been missing from Placentia, Calif since July 2009.

Robert had recently gotten married to a woman that he had met 59 years before named, Fontelle and was getting the house ready for her to move in when he disappeared.

Robert was last seen by his son-in-law on July 27, 2009, after he left to run some errands to do some handyman work for Robert in his house.

Myspace and Facebook pages controlled by Bob's daughter(s). This is a disgrace. ("Just hang on wherever you are. Answers are coming soon.")

Myspace: No mention that Bob is a missing person (page used to say "I Am Missing"). Information about his disappearance on the previous blog page is gone. Friends (0). Status in lower right says "Swinger."

Facebook: Their last post on the wall was on February 14, 2011. A "spam" post from March 27, 2011 still remains on the wall.

I am disgusted. Without a doubt, this information has been added to the PPD files on this case. Nothing is more crystal clear than "grieving family members" who have grabbed hold of their father's estate and who CONTINUE to denigrate him in death.

Tips are supposed to go to PI MC? Please tell me I am misreading this?? This is disturbing-I just want to make sure that I am reading that tips are to go to a PI vs PPD Homicide.

this day just gets better and better, doesnt it.

How interesting that this oddly written article comes out less than a week from the pre trial date where there is an action on the table to remove the co conservators based upon fiduciary misconduct. And tips should be sent to a PI vs PPD Homicide. Thank goodness the blog/article itself got it right.

These daughters must be VERY busy to not even find the time to update these two sites and keep them current. Maybe if JM could take a few minutes away from her constant posts on her community board and put them towards her father's FB and MS pages...ahhh, who am I kidding? :-(

They were Bobs daughters for more than 50 consecutive years , so I guess in their 50's? Pretty adolescent to be changing ones missing fathers face book status to 'swinger' - but this is the usual for them. We've seen it before and I have no doubt we'll continue to see it again and again.

My hope - any forensic evidence found when Bobs home was processed is being reviewed by top forensic experts who are putting the scientific facts together with LE's theory on what happened to Bob.

IMO the above is the reason for the delay on hearing any updates on what may have been found in Bobs home when it was processed March 18th.
