CA- Body (IDd as Celeste Rivas Hernandez) found in vehicle at Hollywood tow yard, abandoned Tesla registered to singer D4vd – 8 September 2025 #2

trying to imagine entertaining in a home where a dismembered body was in this kitchen freezer. I just can't. Like how would one hide a bunch of body parts in this? TMZ does too much I think. They are what the kids call "extra"
I know... imagine some one opening the door for some ice cubes... or saying "got any frozen pizzas? Oh...." If there were a freezer in the basement with a lock on it, maybe makes sense, but having a body in the kitchen.... crazy.

There goes the credibility of the TMZ "sources close to the investigation".

MOO JMO
Yep. Walkin' it back.

LAPD Captain and commanding officer of Robbery-Homicide Division, Scot Williams, tells PEOPLE exclusively that Rivas Hernandez was not frozen and was not decapitated as previously reported by local media.

“Celeste's body was not frozen,” Williams says. “She was not decapitated. The whole frozen thing doesn't even make sense. Her body was in the car for weeks."

Williams continues, "Even if she had been frozen solid when she was put in the car (which there is NO evidence to suggest she was), five or more weeks in the trunk of a car in sweltering heat in the middle of summer would not have resulted in a partially frozen body being discovered on September 8th.”

So this report is false?

It mentions the case being removed from the LA medical examiner's website.
I have no idea but I have a feeling that some stories are being leaked on purpose to muddy the waters and cause confusion...I wonder if by someone in DAB camp? Very odd as well that DAB parents home also was pranked with a swatting incident not long after celeste was found. Something is really not adding up about this whole case. LAPD & medical examiner's office are really butting heads over something in that autopsy.
All my own opinion of course.

In a new update from the LA Times, which reportedly saw court records, the medical examiner’s office has said that the findings in the autopsy will not be released in order to prevent jeopardising the investigation.

Detective Joshua Byers filed the declaration at the end of last week, and described their probe as an “investigation into murder”. Superior Court Judge Craig Richman granted the request made by the LAPD, and the medical examiner’s findings will now be sealed to prevent any interference into the investigation

Hmm....I think someone from DAB inner circle has talked to LAPD and told how she was murdered and I'm guessing the autopsy has backed this up...but if they reveal COD publicly then they won't be able to say only someone closely involved to the actual murder would know that info so it makes sense to keep that info confidential until a trial...if there ever is one.

Hopefully an arrest is coming soon!!

Beat me to it

Oh look at that. An actual named and relevant police source. Good to know it wasn't making sense simply because TMZ was talking out of its arse.
I knew it. TMZ has been spinning this case with their unidentified sources close to this and close to that from the get go. Thank you to those who shared this ACTUAL update from LE.

I was wondering the same thing. Either it was BS or the timeline was wrong. In the summer, in a hot car, it wouldn't have taken days to unthaw. The high was only in the upper 70s/low-80s that week; in a heat wave, hours, but I'd still give it less than a day if it isn't shaded.

So it appears LAPD is sticking by the timeline that she was put in the car late July-ish.

Where was she January to July?

MOO, TMZ sometimes gets it right, especially with celeb scuttlebutt. But they are not journalists and do not adhere to the same sort of standards. So with D5vd being some sort of celebrity (to some) the odds were decent that they might have some actual facts but they have shown themselves to be less than above board on this case.

Los Angeles Police, who have remained tight-lipped since September 29th, have confirmed that the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose decomposed remains were discovered in the trunk of singer D4vd’s Tesla in September, is now being treated as a “murder investigation,” according to newly filed court documents filed November 24th.

Idk I’m starting to wonder if TMZ was not so far off and the LAPD is mincing words. They got the Santa Barbara trip right.

If someone is talking to TMZ they need to be rooted out ASAP. D4vd has had far too much time to prepare for this investigation as it is, with the number of possible witnesses, accomplices/accessories after the fact and potential for evidence and witness tampering I think the possibility of a conviction beyond a reasonable doubt is less certain.

At a minimum he should be charged for the sexual abuse of a child, JMO.

People.com sharing what LAPD Detective Joshua Byers said....

The way this is worded, Detective Byers is asking for the ME report to be sealed to protect witnesses. This is something new, no?? The way he said it, it makes it almost clear that there ARE witnesses who have come forward. I am so hopeful.....

From the article:

Making the documents public, he wrote, "will reveal or tend to reveal the ongoing investigation and the integrity of the investigation as well as the identity of witnesses and/or informants who are cooperating with law enforcement and the content of the information they have provided, which could endanger the lives of witnesses and/or compromise the investigation."

@arielilane I do like Jscottmorgan but even this recent episode is outdated by a few hours with the announcement decapitated is false? It's such a whirlwind and confusing now....

To clarify her age - from my notes...

Celeste Rivas Hernandez (missing @ 13/found @ 14 [DOB 9/7/10]) found in Tesla [Model X] on Sept. 8, 2025.

So - she would actually be 14 years old - since they say she was dead before 9/7/25 her birthdate. No?

Yes. She was found the day after her 15th birthday, which why a lot of initial reporting said she was 15. (Also her current office date of death is the day she was found, as they don't have anything to narrow it down to the actual day.)

However later police statements made it clear she was dead for weeks before she was discovered. She never reached 15.

Yes. It always bugs me when MSM and others say she was 15 - she was dead at least 10 days before she was found - and she would have turned 15 the day after she was found dead and already substantially decomposed. She did not make it to 15 and she was not 13.

And LAPD Chief said that the freezing AND the decapitation are "nonsense."
