Would a viral Tiktok rapper really be the level of rich where he has a crew that drives his cars (if that's even a thing)? The last venue he played at holds 1,150 people. I'm sure he does OK, but that's pretty far from OK.

Honestly I'm not suspecting this guy at all. His tour dates/locations show that he would've been halfway across the country. No way he goes home to LA (or NY) when he has a day between Midwest shows. I'm sure they've already determined via surveillance that it wasn't him that parked the car. The window of time from which the car could've been stolen without his knowledge was huge.

I wonder how long she actually lived for after being reported "Missing".

It was me who said that, and it was only me speculating because I don't know these people and am only reading what everyone else is reading. But this poor girl went missing at least 2 times in 2024, when she was still 13. Somehow, her mother knew she had a tattoo at 13 and a "boyfriend" named David one year ago. I'm assuming they just stopped looking for her because they knew where she was and/or she was communicating with family and friends, just not showing up at home/school.

He’s such a talented kid... A real shame if he did in fact kill that poor child.
I still stand by my gut feeling that he was set up. Of course I’ve been wrong before, but I’m fine with that.

The fact that he had a song called "Romantic Homicide" means nothing. Maybe in the caseb of R. Kelly, some songs make you think, "Welllllll...". But probably 90% of musicians have a song about homicide.

it is! it almost comes across as if he needed a “replacement celeste” with the same name and vaguely looking the same. i think there were pictures of the other celeste wearing the same jacket that missing celeste wore before. it could still be coincidence too of course! but it’s definitely confusing.

more speculation: i wonder if she was pregnant. that seems to be a common theme with young girls getting killed.

either way, poor, poor girl she didn’t even get to celebrate her 15th birthday.

This is what I’m stuck on.. it sounds as though they’d had some kind of relationship for an extended period and he has the same tattoo. Surely when police released the details they had already been in contact with him so I can’t understand how it would then take so long to identify her. I’d imagine that the first question they’d ask would be if he knew of anyone who fit the description they had.

Obviously there are a ton of possibilities as to how she ended up in the car, but I’m struggling with the length of time between the discovery to ID if he knew her. Until now I’d just assumed it would have been the body of someone random i.e. not connected to him at all. I really can’t fathom not being horrified and breaking down at the idea of someone close to you being found dismembered in your car.

It looks like LE carried out a search warrant in one house yesterday on Doheny Place.

And I am sure that is just the tip of the iceberg for the warrants. Police characterize him as cooperative but expect that may change as more information linking him to this girl comes to light. Custodial interference is also a crime, even if he nothing to do with her death. I expect police will be able to hold him against his wishes for questioning if that is what they decide is best for the case.

From what I have been reading, I have a strong suspicion that she wasn't really missing, and that her mother knew where she was and who she was with. Sounds like everyone failed this poor girl and it's only a matter of time until TMZ picks up on the details being shared about this situation.

Multiple people who live on the block where the singer's Tesla was abandoned tell TMZ ... LAPD swept the area and are talking with every neighbor they can track down to see if there is Ring camera or surveillance video showing D4vd's car.
One complicating factor here ... several homes in the area are party houses and short-term rentals ... and cops need to get in touch with the owners.

Celeste and D4vd have matching tattoos on their right index finger ... the ink reads, "Shh..."

TMZ spoke with Celeste's mom last week, and she told us about her daughter's tattoo, adding that it was in red ink. The mom said Celeste had been missing for more than a year, and she was suspicious of the Tesla discovery because she said Celeste's boyfriend's name was David.

Rivas was reported missing from Lake Elsinore in early 2024. Eyewitness News has learned she ran away a few times and returned before her last runaway in April 2024. She called home at the end of May 2024 and had not been heard from since.
On Wednesday night, a house close to where the Tesla was abandoned was searched.

A dozen LAPD investigators took a computer and other items from a Hollywood home. Police spent hours at the home on Doheny Place, placing several evidence bags into an SUV, but they wouldn't say if or how it was connected to the Tesla.

Several homeowners say they remember seeing that distinct Tesla for a while - first parked in front of the house police searched, then at two different spots on the street.

Those who knew Rivas say she was bubbly and sweet.

I assume they're referring to 'The Rake's Song' from The Hazards of Love. The Decemberists have a lot of seriously dark lyrics, though, much like the folk songs that influenced them. Obviously most people who write songs about morbid topics would never actually do any of the things they sing about, but given D4vd's links to this crime, it's hard not to be a bit unsettled by 'Romantic Homicide'

What I know for sure is that Celeste didn't kill herself, chopped her own body in half, stored the upper part inside a Tesla and drove said Tesla around to move it from parking spot to parking spot in the Hollywood Hills.

This is a girl from Lake Elsinore, she went missing last year. She was 13 years old, she didn't even live to see 15. These are pretty rough years for most kids, navigating becoming a teen and exploring life, making mistakes and learning how to fix it with the help of trusted adults. She didn't even gret a freaking chance.
