I am wondering if she was simply left at his residence when/if he had to travel somewhere out of state/country for an engagement. Maybe with an "allowance". The whole thing is so sordid and ugly.

As of Sept. 18, the LAPD has not released information on Rivas' cause of death or the manner of the investigation. Although they initially told NBC News that they were "investigating this incident as a homicide," they shared a follow-up statement apologizing for declaring it a homicide investigation.

Police have also not shared if there are any people of interest in the case or if they plan to file any charges.

So, it is obvious he had a relationship with her - possibly as early as when she was just 11; but definitely in 2023 - 2024. I don't believe those that are saying, "he was gone; he was on tour". The timeline tells me there is a real possibility he was involved.

yeah, I am leaning HARD on the - he did this side of the fence I've been riding. Not that someone else associated with he or the victim couldn't have done it, but right now he is my suspect number one.

Does anyone know or recall CR’s stating whether or not she wore glasses? I noticed in the pictures from her family, and that were used on the Missing Persons Post, ABC and People Magazine, that she is not wearing any.

I’m beginning to think it is probably because she didn’t need them and the photos and videos with a young girl or woman with the black frames are of the lady mentioned in the Twitter post who also shares CR’s first name.

Unless you have permission from your parents or legal guardians then it counts as abducting a child. When a child is being groomed they are not always aware that they are being abducted. As a result of grooming the victim will think they are in love instead of being abused by a predatory adult.

Based on the link to the Economic Times article above…it doesn’t look good

If the true that D4vd preyed on, abused, abducted and murdered CR are true then it is even more heartbreaking because according to MR they had reached out to authorities about the relationship but couldn’t get help.

Additionally, CR called home a month after she ran away in April 2024. Perhaps the call could have been tracked in order to locate CR and that, plus an earlier response by LE could have saved her life. Also, CR was seen smiling, giggling and not in duress at a yard sale during the time she was considered missing which indicates to me there may have been opportunities to intervene and reach out to her and get her to safety without the threat of her groomer assaulting, coercing or intimidating her.

I find it hard to believe LE wouldn't act on it in some form or fashion, i.e., a call, an email or text.

I don't know if I think set up or just besotted with his own celebrity thinking rules don't or won't apply to him. He would have to be very very dumb to get rid of the body of a minor girl he was associated with in this manner. As you say, there are just so very many other ways to dispose of a body without tying it directly to yourself.

For sure the jury is still out. Could be one of his ‘entourage’ was jealous of him…and Celeste. So the framing idea is not that far fetched. BUT grooming an 11 year old? THAT’S something on a completely different level!

Do we know when the car was towed? How long has D4vd or however he spells his stage name been on tour? Why does it seem like this poor childs mother had no issues with her preteen or barely teenage daughter dating an adult man? Are we sure it was D4vd? Is there anyone close to him who may want him locked up?

I have so many questions and will get a chance to Google NONE OF THEM for a few hours because my kids are awake and being chaos gremlins

Uh.... 71 lbs???? I'm 5'1" so I know what I'm talking about, but it'll still have to be JMO. I remember when I was at my tiniest (and I was TINY and wore size zero pants. Yes, they make size zero. They also make size double zero because I worked with a gal who was that size). Neither of us were anywhere NEAR 71 lbs!!! Heck, that's just a squeak over the 60's by 2 lbs.

I was 98 lbs and super duper skinny. No way in heck could I have gotten down to 71 lbs without being a walking, talking skeleton. That is WAY too skinny. I wouldn't be surprised if a heavy drug addiction was involved with her lack of weight. Or a really bad case of anorexia cuz that is LITTLE IMO.

"Kidnapping" is just a euphemism for abducting a child. A child will not understand they are being lured away into a dangerous situation. Children cannot consent to "relationships" with adults. The victim's mother reported her as missing numerous times, which further emphasizes my point that the mother did not allow or consent for her child to go with this man. You can be abducted without force if you are groomed by your adult abuser.
