The reporting has been somewhat confusing for this case.
Celeste was 12 in 2024.
She was 13 when found deceased.
There is a possibility that she'd told David she was older, we don't know.
No blame to her as I think she was groomed and maybe didn't want to lose that connection she thought she had with David ?
And that may be the cause of confusion for msm because some sources are still reporting her as 15 when found.
Her mother reported her missing in 2024, according to sources I've linked.

The Riverside County Sheriff told TMZ the teen was reported missing on April 4, 2024 ... and she was found dead in the vehicle in a Hollywood tow yard on Sept. 8 this year -- one day after her birthday.
They reported her missing when she didn't return after leaving with David to go see a movie.
She was with David with her families' consent, it appears from the interview the reporter had with her brother; they reported her as missing when she didn't return.
We all want to believe the best about David, but it doesn't sit well with me that she was found in his car.
It may have been someone else who ended her life, but she was with David when last seen.

I don't think he is the one who killed her.
I think he had a totally inappropriate relationship with her, starting when she was still an outrageously young child, that they did a poor job of hiding within their social circles, and I think that "relationship" became an albatross around his neck as he started to become famous and make money off his fame, and he was probably told by certain people around him, that he would have to cut ties with her, and I think he listened and agreed.
But ties like that are hard to break, and I think it was taking awhile and may never have happened if she hadn't been killed. I think he left to go on his World Tour and left her behind with people he knew, and in his absence, something terrible happened, and she died, maybe murdered, maybe overdosed, maybe who knows how. I think the person or people who were there when she died panicked and did a very bad job of hiding her body. Probably thought that where she was (in the Tesla) was just the temporary place til they figured out a better one, but the car was towed before they moved her again. Then obviously, it was out of their hands.
I don't know if I think they would have told David about it or not. But I know the cops did tell him about it, before they had identified her, and he said nothing to them, even though it would have been obvious to him exactly whose body it was. That's what I think right now anyway, but I know there are still many things we don't know and in the end, it all may look completely different.

Still, Celeste was too young to be going out on dates with a man (18 yrs. old is a young man, not a 'boy'.) the mom has never seen ?
Although to give David the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were just friends and played video games, baked cookies and ate popcorn , etc. together ?
But if that was the case, she was gone with him for a month the first time and the next for a year.

Even if she told him she was 15 or 16 --didn't he wonder why she wasn't in school and if her family was looking for her ?

She would have turned 15 on 7th September. She was born 7/9/10 so was 14 when she was found deceased and 13-14 in 2024.

To do the math...
Celeste was found in the frunk of the Tesla on September 8th, 2025.
At that time, the car had already been in the lot for approx. 5 days. --> September 3rd, 2025.
Prior to September 3rd, the car had been sitting abandoned for more than 1 month before being towed...--> August 3, 2025.
D4VDs tour started on August 5, 2025 in Del Mar, CA.
Plus, with how decomposed her body was.. I think it's a very high likelihood she had already been dead for some time before the Tesla had been abandoned. They couldn't even tell her age or ethnicity..

Doesn't explain why he didn't tell the cops or Medical Examiner that the person found chopped up in the frunk of his Tesla, resembled Celeste. (If mom knew about the "Shhh" tattoo, he surely did as well.)

She was found September 8th, 2025 which would be 1 day after (what should have been) her 15th birthday.
Sadly, we can say that due to how decomposed her body was; she never made it to 15 years old.
So, she would of been 14 whenever she died.
When she was reported missing / last seen on April 5, 2025; she was 13 years old.
In September of 2024, she would of turned 14 years old.
Then, she was found 1 day after what should have been her 15th birthday.
