CA- Body (IDd as Celeste Rivas Hernandez) found in vehicle at Hollywood tow yard, abandoned Tesla registered to singer D4vd – 8 September 2025

This is probably nothing, but after someone upthread posted the link to the apartments.com listing for the rental house (here), I put the address in google maps, and then clicked street view.

I chose a random location near the property... its dated as May 2024 - and what do I see there? A blue Tesla parked on that street! Is it possible this is the blue Tesla in this case?

If so, I guess its just a sign of our times that it happened to be caught on Google maps. It could very easily belong to someone else too though.

I'm new here, my question is she's ran away multiple times, why? I read she always argued with her mother. Where are the parents, they are not showing them much. There is no way a trunk of a Tesla can be open without a camera coming on. To many on that car not to see someone.
Welcome, temamh!

I have wondered about the "movements" of the Tesla. I don't know what the parking situation is like at the house D4vd was renting/living in, so maybe someone else here can provide more information. I would think that if he was the primary person renting/living in the home he would have had the "best" parking spot on site (if there was one). So why was the Tesla seen parked at different locations in the neighborhood? Was he the one not parking right at the house or was the Tesla being used by one of his associates? If it was being driven/parked by D4vd, did he not park directly at the house because he wanted to keep his address private - either from fans or possibly from Celeste's family? Or did he know that Celeste's body was decaying in the car and moved (or had it moved) so it wouldn't be considered abandoned and towed AND while essentially "distancing" it from himself and his home?

I just can't imagine if the car was being moved around with her body in it, what it would be like to be the person that drew the short straw and had to do this. Years ago we were in the LA area for a wedding and we took my daughter to Disneyland for the Princess Breakfast. She got carsick on the way to Disney and threw up in the back of the rented minivan. We did our best to clean up before going into the park for the breakfast but it was hard since we didn't really have anything to really clean it up good. After a long day sitting in the hot CA sun (end of August!) I can only say that I was super happy to be the only driver on the rental agreement so that I had a seat as far away from the back as possible. Knowing how bad this was - and it was only a toddler's vomit in the sun for several hours - I can't even begin to imagine having to get in a car with poor Celeste's decomposing body having been in the heat for likely at least several days.
With a Tesla being a self driven car all they had to do from the app is move the car. As far as cameras around the car, the camera can be disabled or if they have a USB in the glove compartment, data can be retieved that way.
My husband works for Tesla I go the information from him.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

I am expecting an arrest, but I'm not expecting it soon unless there is some bombshell we don't know about. It's going to take time to analyze phone data, vehicle data, for forensic analysis, and to interview countless witnesses. Theoretically, there are probably multiple people inside the circle who could have been involved to some extent.

Another complication may be cause of death, which could potentially be something other than homicide (drug overdose/body dump, which we've seen a lot on here).

I posted it as a reply to the post that included the music video to his song called Romantic Homicide. Maybe the video has since been removed?
Sure I can try to track that down. Also copyright might have caused it to be taken down

All very true. Great insight.

‘D4vd’s remaining concerts in America and an upcoming tour of Europe were also axed over the weekend.’

‘He was also booked to play four headlining concerts during his tour, including two at Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, the Sydney Opera House forecourt and Melbourne’s Festival Hall.’
Sure he will be “booked” as soon as the processing is done and evidence is collected.

If you rotate around you will see a black Tesla too.

I went down rabbit hole on this case. Its extremely disturbing. It feels like so many people knew she was with him, she didn’t look 19 .

Im torn on he did it vs someone in his circle did it because David seemed to be climbing fame quite fast and if it came out he was with 13-14 year old it would be an end to him.
Imo I could see someone in his circle getting rid of her in order to save Davids career ( well mostly their cash cow).
I was thinking about his manager who rented the apartment for him. The manager has to know something. What if she was pregnant, tried to term the pregnancy and things got complicated, messy and she succumbed from injuries. Panicked, manager or someone paid hired hands to dispose of evidence trying to protect the breadwinner from facing sexual abuse of minor and endangering life of minor so someone cut up body and stashed pieces in frunk of Tesla and maybe other parts elsewhere and were intending to get around to getting rid of everything but car got impounded. I read that it says part of body, not whole body found. A lot of people in his circle had plenty to lose. Maybe she got scared and wanted to go home and she was forced to abort or something. Now, that’s my rabbit hole indeed! Sorry guys! I was just looking at something with managers name on it last night and thoughts just flooded my head.

Even a kid will hide when the does something wrong. Why would he hide a body of a girl he loved in his own car he owned? I say he was set up. People who play games get swatted, who's to say someone is not setting him up. I know he was with her and she was a kid but think about it, who would hide person they killed in their own car.......

This is interesting - I've done some digging on the security of the Tesla Y model. So, to open the trunk of the car, you need:

1. A key fob - Tesla allows multiple of these to be made, but obviously the primary owner would be aware and permit this. SO d4vd knew how many people, and who, had access to his Tesla.

2. Acces via the app - there is a primary account owner of the app. Anyone else logged into this account must, obviously, be approved by the owner. So again, D4vd knew who had access to the app and hence who could use his car.

More interestingly though, both ways of accessing the car hold certain data. The key fob (from chatgpt):
  • Tesla logs when the car is unlocked and started, including which key or device was used.
  • The primary account can see timestamps of recent unlocks and drives in the Tesla app or the car’s security event logs.
  • Some logs may also show approximate location if Sentry Mode or GPS tracking is enabled.
And from the app:
  • If someone has shared app access, the primary account can see:
    • When the car is unlocked, locked, or started through the app.
    • Limited driving info depending on permissions (e.g., energy usage, trip start/end).
  • The app doesn’t necessarily show real-time driving behavior, but trip data can be logged.

However, there are two different ways of having a "shared app" - i.e multiple people having access to via the app.

1. Someone logs in WITH D4vd's email and password, using HIS account. This is risky and Tesla does not recommend it.
2. The primary owner (D4vd) creates another, lets say "sub" account, which allows the user to drive and access the car, without seeing sensitive information. This is likely what he would've done as it's safer and easier to manage, without giving out passwords etc.

Conclusion: D4vd would've known exactly when, and exactly whom, was driving and unlocking his car. As will police once they analyse this information.

Has it been confirmed if he reported the car as stolen? If anyone knew the car had been stolen or abandoned it would be him... all he needed to do is check his app. In fact, IF he had notifications on, he may even have been notified without opening the app whenever the car was accessed.

MOO.
Just thinking...because other folks supposedly had access to this car, I wonder if the keys were just left out on a table or hanging up. And whomever wanted to use the car, just grabbed the keys and went on their way.
You wouldn't know who drove it without the car's cameras recording.

I feel like a very obvious explanation is being overlooked her: perhaps the killer was disposing of the remains in pieces across various places so as not to draw attention. (I think Dahmer disposed of an early victim that way?) Drop a bag in the river here or put a bag in a dumpster there, whenever they get an opportunity between trips... never gone long enough to draw suspicion. If the remains were in a cooler or other airtight container, it may have been inconspicuous to load in, and he could keep it there for some time before the odor would be an issue.

FWIW, I do think it was D4vid (domestic violence is a huge issue, and she was particularly vulnerable), and I do think he realized (after the fact) that the Tesla had been towed but was too afraid of what he knew was still in it to draw attention to the fact that it was gone.

And do we know this is his car?

One possibility that comes to mind is that, while D4vd might have had access to the Tesla, it might actually have been someone else's. This makes sense to me: A record company might well want to have vehicles and homes ready for up and coming new artists, without necessarily giving them the money that they would need for their rock star lifestyle.

Multiple MSM sources, particularly major local news sources, reported that the car is registered (in TX) to David, who grew up in Houston.

I’m catching up but I want to add although D4vd was way too old for her he looks like a pretty small guy so that is possibly how he was seen publicly w her but didn’t raise alarms. He kept her around too long for her to be trafficked and she would have been seen on Fig if that was going on. His style of music is more emo - ish. I think maybe he was obsessed w her. It remains to be seen.

what is Fig?

how do you know? it looks just like her

Interesting… you know, I stated earlier that I couldn’t foresee an event where his manager is complicit, but think about it, if he was actually living there like the landlord is saying, Josh must have seen or known about Celeste. There’s got to be a connection there, wouldn’t that be something if she was in the background of a photo on his IG or something like that, unbeknownst to him. Also, super convenient that the landlord does not have access to the footage. Keep searching! 🧐

she's in several photos/videos/livestreams with him, all posted in this thread

there's one at this link:

ETA: I guess in this one, we don't know it's her since she's wearing a hood and glasses, and he seemed to be very crafty about having her stand outside of camera range or wear a 'disguise' JMO

Amazing how much money it appears that D4vd has.

His net worth is only 2-3 million. Resting a $20,000 house a month, doesn't seem like a smart money move.
