LE did show up at his door. They brought Celeste back to her home after the first time she went missing. But a few months later she ran away again.

I know about them bringing Celeste home and her running away again. What I’m saying is it would be nice to be a fly on the wall and know if Celeste’s family suspected David as being the reason their daughter was missing and having something to do with her death BEFORE she was ever found in his car. Like did they already think David did it and this just confirmed it? Or what? I hope this makes more sense. It’s hard getting thoughts to paper. MOO.

HONEYBUN!! Per two really great youtube crime commenters, excellent information. Joshua "Josh" Ritter is a Los Angeles-based criminal defense attorney who hosts the weekly podcast Courtroom Confidential. CR and D4 were communicating (possibly for 2 years) when he lived in Houston, Tx. She did not "runaway" from home until he moved to Los Angeles! So, her home life was fine until the "guy she met on line" moved to the area, Los Angeles, Calif.
IMO...D4 was the "disruptor" and lured her away. Hmmm, a youngster sneaking off to meet an online predator is nothing new and always inherently dangerous.

@MassGuy agree with you re timing of arrest (although much less familiar with US police & legal procedures).
In Australia, police usually know a lot more than what is being shared & reported by media. Journalist are legally restricted in respect to publishing things they might find through independent investigation (this is to protect ‘sub-justice’ court/jury integrity)
…I only mention this because this case seems so easily traceable. The owner of the car registration is known with presumably few individual who has access. Clear alibis can be established based on travel movements and tour dates, and no doubt there is loads of CCTV footage in that area

subjudice in Australia begins once a warrant is issued, someone is arrested or charged, up until the court has finished dealing with the case. Media cannot publish prejudicial information

I am not going to judge anyone, not the victim's family or D4vd. I had a teen who did what he wanted, it was impossible to control him. He told people he was 18, and on his own. Often with a story about living in an abusive home.

Some teens are their own worst enemy. Unfortunately. Not victim blaming, because the victim had no way of predicting this outcome. Hoping that there will be an explanation about the situation and the perpetrator charged.

Perhaps whoever did it genuinely thought if her poor body was in bags the smell would not escape.
The posts he made that said they had a kid on the way, I initially thought they were posted in November last year and then worked out that IF true, the baby could have been due at the very latest July possibly August and that maybe that played a part in all this. But I think I got confused between the UK and US date format. I saw 11 and thought it was November.
But despite everything, even if he DIDN’T do it, I still maintain that he would not be doing shows and acting normally if she had disappeared and he didn’t know anything about what had happened to her. He’d be trying to find her.

I’ve been thinking… As we’ve seen in a few articles, D4vid’s friends thought Celeste was over 18. Now. Not three years ago but now. I’ve worked with thousands of teens and preteens over the last 15 years and most are just kids being kids or teens doing teen things but then there are the few that seem to want to be older faster and by saying this I am in no way victim blaming, Celeste was a CHILD and had no responsibility in her actions nor in the outcome. I do wonder if she just said at 11 “well, I’m 14”. No questions asked. To a 17 year old that is still too young but it happens. Maybe even 15. She looked young, not 11 years old young. So as the years passed she went from being 14 or so in David’s circle to being over age or on the cusp or there round about thanks to the fake id’s she had. (Jmo but I’m sure I read it in an article). I’ve had kids with older boyfriends unfortunately, much older, skipping classes, running away, disappearing with said older boyfriends and sometimes the boys/young men had no idea the girl was actually younger than she said was. All of this thinking came about when it’s said the two Celeste’s were regularly mistaken. Even we’ve mistaken them. We’re mistaking a child with someone almost ten years her senior…so that led me to thinking that perhaps she did just seem older, again, no fault of hers. Psychologically I’m not sure how an 11 year old can pass as a teen or a 14 year old pass as someone over the age of 18. I remember now one girl who was 14 when I started teaching her and she did always just have an older air about her, she knew what she wanted, where she was going and seemed pretty put together. I think her friends were older, her mothers friends, then boys and now almost 10 years on (she looks exactly the same now as she did at 14) men double her age following her on insta and leaving her comments. I cringe knowing these men and knowing how young she is. Anyway, point is.. a child ending up in a terrible situation, no adults really there to educate her or help her through things that she was going through, maybe helping her see it’s ok to be 11, no child should ever be made to or allowed to make such decisions in their life and to probably feel so alone. The adults failed her in every way here and they really could have just stepped in. At venues staff know what id’s are valid, which aren’t. I just don’t get it.
After saying all of this in no way either am I condoning David’s actions over the last three years. Over that time span he had to have known something. At first maybe not but keeping up a lie that big is no easy feat, it’s a lot to carry alone, for a child to carry alone. Poor Celeste.

The older Celeste seems to have straight hair everywhere I've seen her. How can the 2 Celeste's be mistaken for each other if that's the case? I did noticed the other Celeste wears large glasses, like in the video where a girl is in a hoodie that covers her head, and she tells David to answer the question someone has asked.

If the 2 Celeste's are not that similar, they can't be mistaken for each other IMHO. The video of a female at his concert, wearing a black tube top, with long curly hair, doesn't appear to be the older Celeste (unless she changed her hair). Determining who's who in David's zoo is very important to this case IMHO.

I don't find the two Celestes to be particularly similar. I can imagine that they're even less so IRL. I expect that those close to them knew them as quite different people, with specific relationships to D4vd.

D4vd may turn out to be a master criminal, planting Doppelgänger Celestes among his retinue, but my guess is that there just happened to be two lasses named Celeste in his crew, one older and one younger, and it was the younger CR with whom he was more recently involved/ obsessed, etc.
