Yesterday, Nima Momeni's defense team hammered Bo Mohazzabi on cross examination. Prosecutors objected early in, calling Saam Zangeneh argumentative. Zangeneh snapped back, "It's cross," eliciting a laugh from the audience. Oliver Lee, Bob's brother responding this morning -
Bo has a tech startup and was showing Lee an idea he was working on the day before Lee was killed. Bo witnessed a call from Nima Momeni asking what had happened with his sister. "How about the girls naked, what was that about," Bo recalled him saying.
Bo said Momeni sounded like he was both an "over protective brother" and a man who was playing a role when he interogated Lee.
When prosecutors initially released information about what happened the night before Lee's killing, Bo's eye witness testimony was key, as he was the only person they talked to who witnessed Momeni's call with Lee, which they have said signalled his potential motive.
Bo said Momeni sounded like he was both an "over protective brother" and a man who was playing a role when he interogated Lee.

So bizzare..... Don't get derailed. KM did send text to BobL April 4, 2023....It stated, “Just wanted to make sure your doing ok. Cause i know nima came wayyyyyy down hard on you. And thank you for being such a classy man handling it with class.”Much of today's proceeding in the murder trial of Nima Momeni has centered on Bob Lee's friend, who spent much of the day with him before he was stabbed to death. Most or the details in the hours that led up to Bob Lee’s killing have been reported. But today in court we learned few new details: When Nima Momeni interrogated Lee about why he’d found his sister Khazar half naked at Lee’s alleged drug dealer, Khazar was in the car.

I can't imagine taking a lunch break after this testimony. It all sounds so intense; even the court room summary is giving insight (or incite?) as to what might have been building up in NM's mind. Alas, it doesn't really help NM's claim of self defense. As tragic as this is, SZ is painting the picture of a brother bent on revenge....and revenge is premeditated murder. I don't think SZ intends it to go in that direction and yet instead of illiciting sympathy from the jury, it may only solidify premeditation.
