The video clip can be a surprise but they may have talked about it or even showed a picture earlier. The prosecution had plenty of time to object as they have the last word/rebuttal after the defense closing. So I assume it was legal. MOO

The longer the jury goes, the more I worry this creep will be found not guilty due to the jury believing the self defense nonsense.

Which doesn't make me optimistic. This should have been an open and shut case, IMO.
As we know, the longer the jury hasn’t come to a decision it looks favorable for the defendant.
However, the prosecution's case made the most sense, a totality of the circumstances. They're Bob Lee's voice. I suspect jurors are being thoughtful with their time at deliberations, clearly they are not rushing [I respect that], and taking their civic duty responsibilities seriously.
Honestly, I am on edge, but, trust that the jury will get this right.

While the jury deliberated, Nima Momeni’s defense filed a motion for a mistrial based on Bo Mohazzabi’s testimony (Bob Lee’s friend) saying he lied about his drug use which violates Momeni’s right to a fair trial. The motion was denied. Deliberations continuing now.

We are on Day 5 of Verdict Watch: Jurors returned to the San Francisco courthouse today for their fifth day of deliberations. Jurors are attempting to reach a verdict for Nima Momeni, the accused killer of tech mogul Bob Lee.
From witnesses and evidence presented at trial, the jury must decide: Did Momeni stab Lee to death as a premeditated act of murderous revenge? (First-degree murder). Or, was he telling the truth when he testified that he acted in self-defense? (Manslaughter or aquittal)
Twelve jurors have already deliberated for 25 hours, stretched over 5 days. Judge Alexandra Gordon’s instructions for jurors state, “Your verdict on each count must be unanimous. You must reach your verdict without any consideration of punishment.”

I suspect that deliberations are over for the day. Jury returns tomorrow.
Curious if the jury is struck on all the charges? The highest charge of first degree murder is difficult to prove.
However, there are still the lesser charges to consider.
