The good citizens of Sonoma County are probably beginning to worry that JMK may end up living somewhere close to them, and maybe even at their expense.
The Sonoma County DA would have been much better off by dropping their case and not extraditing him back to Sonoma. They should have just let Boulder release him as almost happened. Sonoma would have gotten a little flack for a few days and then they could go back to business as usual.
Instead, and especially because of this latest revelation regarding the
missing KEY PIECE OF EVIDENCE (Karr's computer), they will now be under more of a microscope, which is not what I think they really want.
I think that, or hope that, Amparan is investigating Wendy Hutchens extensively. And, in doing that, I would imagine they will turn up serious problems with the original investigation of Karr by the Sonoma County Sheriff's office and anyone else involved.
Sonoma County would be wise, in my opinion, to quietly drop the whole thing. Maybe he would accept a plea agreement of returning to his father or brother's house for a specified period of time, in exchange for dropping ALL charges. And, promising not to sue Sonoma County for anything related to this case.
It would be the talk of the nation for a few days, and then we will all be on to the next big story.
Also, Scandi – You said: (Karr) "
was being investigated by Thai LE to sexual indisgression against young girl who was his student in his apt"
I believe that is patently false, and I guess you can just call me a stickler for details and facts. Perhaps you have a link to a MSM news article or TV interview that supports that accusation?
From an AP article out of Thailand on August 17
http://apnews.myway.com/article/20060817/D8JI8FBG0.html
"Suwat (Lt. Gen. Suwat Tumrongsiskul, head of Thailand's immigration police)
said U.S. authorities informed Thai police on Aug. 11 that an arrest warrant had been issued for Karr on charges of premeditated murder. The warrant was sent to Thai police on Wednesday.
"Through investigation we were able to determine where his residence was and the Thais arrested him," Hurst said. "He did not resist. He did express surprise."'
"Suwat said Karr arrived in Bangkok on June 6 from Malaysia to look for a teaching job. It was not clear whether he had gotten a job, the police officer said."
