In her current role she is simply defrauding a new set of stakeholders. It will likely take those people a long time to wake up to it, since she's so good at it, as always.
Yes, a brilliant master manipulator.

I have no doubt that she adores her children. However, knowing that she chose to get pregnant TWICE when her future freedom was in doubt...

It really was a selfish thing to do IMO.

She can find out the hard way like Heather Mack and Dahlia Dipolito that other people are perfectly capable of taking care of and raising her children without her.

She doesn't have to try so hard to create another identity now. "Liz" will do just fine as a prisoner in her new life. That is the life she is given by the justice system, and she can still be creative inside it, if she wants. Her rehabilitation is in there, not outside.

"Liz" has not shown any remorse about her past life either? So much more the reason she needs rehabilitation.

I read the NYT article. What I find galling is her constantly reminding us that she worked in a rape crisis center because she herself was previously raped. Don't misunderstand me - I am against rape and a supporter of women's rights. But, it seems to be a defense some women like to raise when cornered -- i.e. accuser: "you committed a bad crime..", Holmes as exemplar: "...but, but, but...I was raped...and I worked to help other women that were raped...." It makes me feel less sympathetic to her (and I have had some sympathy toward her in the past, now dwindled to nearly none).
I read it too and I am suing to get the time back that I wasted.

I wanted to come away feeling something more than anger. Suffice it to say, I came away with even less compassion, if that was even possible.

I’m so disappointed in the NY Times, my hometown paper, for printing that article. How anyone, especially a journalist, could have a nice word to say about Holmes is beyond my comprehension.

I can’t wait for her to be sentenced and put away with the other criminals where she belongs. She wants to continue to work in healthcare??? She’s lucky she didn’t kill anyone. She’s still lying about her role as creator and head cheerleader of the scam. She’ll never admit she did anything wrong.

You'd think that lying and giving people false medical information, such as leading them to believe that they had Cancer or a miscarriage would be enough to keep her out of the healthcare field. That's what makes me the maddest, not the financial losses that people suffered.

I completely agree with you. She’s beyond evil. IIRC, she’s only banned from running a company for 10 years. They should have banned her from healthcare for life. She doesn’t know the meaning of the word ”care.”

I don’t know what it is about her that gets me so angry. I’ve followed so many horrific cases here but she really riles me. She had/has such a privileged life, which obviously meant nothing to her because she was so blithely able to do such serious harm to so many people.

How long will she be in prison? Regardless of the length of time, I believe she is so delusional that it won't impact her much at all.

I think it will. The guards will fix that entitlement mentality right away.

She's a narcissistic sociopath. She thinks that she's done no wrong and that life entitles her. Hopefully with her fraud conviction and prison time, no reputable healthcare company will want to hire her.

Wait until you hear this... she wants to do Covid testing now. God help us all! Elizabeth Holmes hints at next steps with prison on hold

If it wasn’t such a truly horrifying thought, I’d laugh. She really has no insight whatsoever. Scary!

Totally hilarious. She doesn't even realize that no one cares about Covid any longer.

Seriously, just how stupid is she???

She defrauded people out of millions, ruined the reputations and careers of people who supported and believed in her, caused a respected scientist to commit suicide and threatened the health of countless people.

But she thinks the public can’t wait for her to solve the latest healthcare crisis?? Zero insight.

Yes, a brilliant master manipulator.

I have no doubt that she adores her children. However, knowing that she chose to get pregnant TWICE when her future freedom was in doubt...

At her age, and as a mother, I don't fault her. Having two children did not stop the Court from imposing a just sentence. It's not like she could begin a family 11 years from now. IMO, the two parents made a joint, informed decision to start a family knowing a decade of their family life could be under the rules of BPO but she will be a mother and grandmother forever-- and long after she's paid her debt to society.

I also see two children that will have many surrogate mothers to nurture and guide them. Children are not only more resilient than we give them credit, but they are also less judgmental than adults-- it at all. In life, we see both children and step-children adjust to new parents joining a family all the time and at different ages.

It's not like age-appropriate resources cannot be afforded, and will certainly be available to them. JMO

I agree with you. The planning was just so orchestrated. Contrived.

She was doing anything for sympathy. Including pregnancy during the trial, but the pandemic messed up that plan, so of course, she got pregnant again. I wouldn't be surprised by another pregnancy.

Children that will be dragged to prison every so often to visit "Mama". I don't see her current spouse as being the type to show up every single weekend for visitation with two kids on Saturday and Sunday. That would get old fast.

The whole family is supposed to revolve around EH, move to Texas?

When she gets out her kids will be just about ready to be pre teens. I don't see that becoming a cozy relationship right away. She messed up, and having two kids in the middle of her mess was as narcissistic as you can get.

One article reported that Billy Evans has bought a condo in CA and was getting ready to move in there when EH reports to prison.

Hmm, doesn't sound like he plans to visit EH every weekend.
