Similar to Balwani being recommended for a prison located in Atlanta by the Judge, the decision is ultimately up to the BOP, and Balwani was sent to a prison in CA and not GA. Accordingly, Bryan, Texas may not be the location EH reports to post rejection of her appeal effort.

Where is she serving her prison time?

The answer isn't totally clear yet, but court filings show a judge proposed she spend her time at a minimum-security federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, according to Business Insider. The decision, though, will ultimately be made by the US Bureau of Prisons.

The prison is only for female inmates, and since it's a prison camp, this means it is "work- and program-oriented" and Holmes would likely be live in a dorm.

Currently, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's Jen Shah is at Camp Bryan, where she's serving time for TKTK.

It's been noted that she's dropped the fake baritone voice in her post-conviction, "totes normal mummy" iteration.

One article reported that Billy Evans has bought a condo in CA and was getting ready to move in there when EH reports to prison.
How does buying a condo in CA help if she's going to prison in Texas? Am I missing something?

The implication was that the condo was where Billie E. and the kids would be living, rather than moving to Bryan, Texas (if that is where Elizabeth Holmes ends up serving her time).

Do we know where in CA the condo is?

So far she is appealing and has not been told she has to go anywhere yet.

A NEW LENS … The past few years have been a whirlwind of headlines surrounding Elizabeth Holmes, Theranos founder and former CEO who was convicted last year of defrauding investors.

Holmes, 39, is giving the public a fresh look into her world in a New York Times profile published this week.

Reporter Amy Chozick, who interviewed her in San Diego, notes in the May 7 article that Holmes "speaks in a soft, slightly low, but totally unremarkable voice, no hint of the throaty contralto she used while running her defunct blood-testing start-up Theranos."

Holmes and her partner, Billy Evans, have two children: William, a toddler, and Invicta, who was born in February.

Chozick also captures scenes with Holmes before she was scheduled to report to prison on April 27 before a last-ditch effort by her lawyers allowed her to stay free while a higher court reviews her appeal. One afternoon, they had Mexican food at Holmes' rental home, and on another day, they walked the couple's dog, Teddy (a Great Dane-mastiff mix) on the beach.

"I realized that I was essentially writing a story about two different people," Chozick wrote. "There was Elizabeth, celebrated in the media as a rock star inventor whose brilliance dazzled illustrious rich men. … Then there is 'Liz,' the mom of two who, for the past year, has been volunteering for a rape crisis hotline."

Dr. Grande did an analysis of EH / the NYT story earlier this week.

What kind of a name for a child is Invicta?

It sounds too much like Convicta, which would describe her mother.

In Europe, Invicta is an old, respected name--including many leaders and noblemen. I had a great Uncle Invicta.

...located in the churchyard of St Peter and St Paul's Church in Swanscombe, where the picture (right) was taken.

Near this spot by ancient tradition the men of Kent and Kentish men carrying boughs on their shoulders and swords in their hands met the invader William Duke of Normandy. They offered peace if he would grant their ancient rights and liberties otherwise war and that most deadly. Their request was granted and from that day the motto of Kent has been INVICTA meaning Unconquered.

I don't understand why Balwani invested his own money in a business that he knew was it was a fraud. I guess I don't understand, when EH and SB knew Theranos was not working, why did they just keep going with the fraud?!

IMO, Balwani is the biggest sucker in this whole thing. He was already a multi-millionaire because he actually "lucked out" from the dot-com bust. But instead of just enjoying his newfound wealth, he got mixed up with the diabolical Holmes. Of course she played him to the end, and now Balwani is sitting in prison at 57 years of age, serving a 13 sentence. o_O Wonderful retirement.

My answer? She's likely bipolar or similar. They can literally inject others with their energy, grandiosity and passion. If you're leading an otherwise boring or somewhat boring life, and one waltzes in, they are very difficult to resist. They are so convincing, trained professionals have been known to be swept up a little.

That's why psychiatrists and psychologists watch the clock and remember why they are in the room.

IMO.

I thought she'd be so narcisstic as to name it Elizabeth Jr.

When can we expect LizBot’s appeal to be denied?
