I thought this was the 'pushed off the balcony' incident. I may be wrong. But it seemed like that was the recent one.

The resident of Capri Apartments in Isla Vista said Rodger moved into the complex last summer. And although many members of the tight-knit community tried to make Rodger feel welcome, the resident said Rodger would spurn their offers to hang out.
We reached out all the time to him to get him to party with us, said the resident, who asked not to be identified to protect his privacy. The few times Rodger would hang out in the communal courtyard, he just sat in the chair and stared at everyone the entire time, the neighbor said.
Every time people tried to interact with him, he rebuffed them. I have seen that before with Seung-Hui Cho and Adam Lanza.

Absolutely! Cops deemed to unnecessary. Obviously shoving people off of ledges is standard horseplay there.
Too bad the girls on the ledge didn't press charges but, if they did we might be reading their obit in today's news too.
Lots of references to MISOGYNY - and I just do not see that as being an issue. The kid had rejection for breakfast, rejection for lunch, and rejection/inferiority for dinner... for dessert he had depression.
His rule - only tall blondes.
His talents- none, except, writing and grasp of English, diction, mechanics, structure, spelling, etc. ( if he wrote it). With zero errors between pp. 1-99, and five from pp 100-120 - only two of those were spelling, the others look like purposeful space bar trip-ups... deliberate. (e.g.: Merc edes)
I don't see a hatred of females, or as he says ("women"), I see a concentrated love for them... but a disdain for the world of humanity. He could not grasp the fact that you need to interact with others to gain that ground... sitting in public will get you nowhere.. take it from me... (smile)

Anyone know how tall ER was? He doesn't look very tall.
That is what I got the impression too. His rejection and inferiority gave him a superiority complex. He had an extreme fixation for blonds and only mentions them. He seems to remember every incident with them only.
I don't recall his exact height being reported, but ER referred to himself as short, blaming his mother for it IIRC.

I live in OC Cali and when his picture first popped up on my TV screen I thought it was Luka Magnotta. The resemblance is uncanny.
That one site that was wrestling or whatever had his profile at 135 & 5'6"', I believe. I don't have a link, sorry. Maybe someone else can help?

The mom is always to blame with many of these MI patients. That's why it seems they always kill their Mom. It must be due to giving birth to them and it was our fault for their disorders.

I would say 5 6 - he is almost the same height as his Dad/ Sourya in the Hunger games footage. Alot of people have referenced this as being the issue - as if he was smaller than most - which is why this all happened - It's an awful theory, when you look at everything. His problem begins when he sets down the rule...

Nope. Not if you're talking about the ledge incident that left him with a broken ankle and LE hearing two versions of the story, where they determined he was the aggressor. That was back in July, 2013.

I believe that it wasn't so much that ER wanted to be quiet or couldn't open up---its just that every time in the past that he let out his true inner core feelings (which were horribly angry, inappropriate, and self-centered) he was rebuffed. He knew that. He had seen it many times. He knew his thoughts and words scared people away.
So ER learned from a fairly young age to be quiet. He had serious mental illnesses. He tried to buy things and do things that would make him appear normal like wearing designer clothes and attempting to attend college.
Ironically, trying hard to fit in only put him into a more stressful and precarious position due to his mental illness.
Since his stepmother asked him to leave the house at 18, I wonder if it was his idea to live independently or his parents?
Maybe we'll never know.
But ER was way too ill to be self-functioning. Way.

On the bodybuilding site, he listed his height at 5" 9....no way is he 5' 9 IMO!
IIRC, other posters on that site didn't believe it either.

On this screen shot from the bodybuilding website he lists himself at 5'9" and 135 lbs. Who knows what the truth was?

If he was 5'9" & I do remember vividly 135 lbs., he was quite thin indeed, I think it was more like 5'6". Thanks for the correction.

I hope his long time best friend James Ellis who eventually ended their friendship speaks out. I would love to hear his feelings. Also John Jo another friend.
I cannot imagine what they and the victim's family are going through.
This caught my attention.
That decision came amid complaints to the building's manager of Rodger playing loud music at night.
Jinshuang (Jane) Liu, Wang's mother, confessed to NBC that she has since prayed to God asking him to take her instead of her only son whom she was 'so proud' of.
Liu said her son rarely interacted with Rodger, blaming a lack of interest between them and Rodger not being very social.
I could imagine Rodger felt entitled to play loud music at night to disturb his roommates. I suspect he wanted to drive out his roommates.
