LE is still at the home and the CSI Unit is still there as well.

Because of the arrests are we now allowed to talk about/show parents previous court records? Like restraining orders etc? I can never remember this rule
I believe so, but best bet is to report your post and ask :)
IMO.

I wonder what was going on with the 2 year old daughter that was removed from their house, i find it odd to just up and remove her.

i know money isn't a very important thing even on the periphery of this family. but, i have my doubts that jh contributes to the financial care of his previous victim. and, if he and wife are tried, found guilty and sentenced to prison for the murder of emmanuel... taxpayers are financially responsible for the lifetime care of his victim as well as the incarceration costs of housing, feeding, etc of the killers.

it's not the financial care of the victim that bothers me.... it's the entire financial responsibility thrust on taxpayers because of the actions of monsters.

i suppose this is an argument for a different time... but, sheesh what a society we live in.

With the parents being arrested makes one wonder what was found in Dads car that they seized and searched Tuesday.
Good question.
HRD dogs aka cadaver dogs made a 'hit' ?
🤬

My guess would be, LE immediately ran a background on both of them, and when their stories sounded so insanely fake, they were able to demonstrate probable cause to remove her for her safety during the investigation.

What’s the alternative? We can’t just throw the surviving children out onto the streets.

I doubt he's required to; both of the children from that marriage were adopted. He's no longer legally their parent.

6 months for attempted murder?

She is permanently blind and will never be able to walk or talk and was only 10 weeks old when she was nearly beaten to death by her father.

Where is the justice? The accountability? Or current concern for the welfare of his current wife and kids?

Also, why did he go on to have more kids after what he did? How is he allowed near children period?

Sorry, I am just disgusted. Justice for Emmanuel, PH and their two siblings. Their cousin sounds like a wonderful person with a big heart and loving home where the children are safe, nurtured can healthily grow.

RIP Emmanuel, you deserved love, safety, comfort and care. You were no one’s punching bag nor the reason for any neglect, harm or the pain they caused. Their failures and crimes are their own and they deserve to pay for them to full extent of the law.

i didn't suggest we throw surviving children to the street. emmanuel was not protected in this case. and a society that allows repeat child abuse, torture and death at the hands of parent is certainly something i think about. it's the totality of this entire situation which seems to allow monsters to control society... financially and morally. i doubt anyone even suggested jh pay for anything he did... and there's something very wrong with that.

i'm sorry you missed my point. my point was that monsters should be held accountable for the damage they cause to others.... and at the minimum financial accountability for the lifelong harm inflicted on a baby.

There's this thing called... restitution.

My guess is that since Rebecca's story stunk and husband has a history of child abuse, police called in the Department of Child Welfare and they decided to remove the youngest child.

I just spat out my water.

I think there need to be reforms made as a result of this case. You should not be able to turn a baby into a vegetable and then walk free and be the caregiver of more children. Maybe we could call it Emmanuel's law: no one who has caused serious bodily harm to a child should be allowed to act as a caregiver to another child.
Unfortunately, I can see this backfiring, with people killing more small charges that they originally injured and whom they don't think will recover, and stashing the little bodies trying to avoid prosecution.

I’ve been out all day and have raced feverishly to catch up here.

BOTH parents arrested on MURDER CHARGES?

Thank God. Now I hope one or both of these monsters stop play-acting and tell LE what they did to Emmanuel and where they put him. Like right now.

Side note I find interesting—-the police had to knock down the fence surrounding their property? These creatures really tried their utmost to fend off LE.

Any parent whose child was ACTUALLY kidnapped /missing would instead be trying to (figuratively) break down the doors of the police station, frantic for help.

IMO, and whew. Relief but still so angry.

exactly.

he was allowed free with no responsibility and no accountability... in any way.

Any mug shots yet?

I lived there years ago, the ground is hard as a rock. I doubt they bothered to dig, but found someplace to just leave him. Ugh, that makes me feel sick just thinking of it. Poor baby.
I was thinking further out where there is higher sand content. Too many have been dumped out there and buried. Some too shallow and up they pop (sorry for that visual). I just think they are too lazy to bother with a drive or even that little work. I don't want to think about what they may find inside that home.

Is it possible that LE has found little Emmanuel, but are not telling the public yet?
Sheriff's Dept stated this morning they are still looking for him.

..
Investigators entered three detached buildings on the property, including a single-story home and a tin-roofed barn. Helicopters circled over the neighborhood and showed footage of investigators parsing through scattered items in the home’s rear while multiple people filmed the scene with their phones from the street.

The sheriff’s department said Emmanuel is presumed dead, but “investigators will continue their search for seven-month-old Emmanuel Haro.”
