I hate that my hinky meter is sky high right now. The mama does seem to have a black eye, though if what she said is correct and someone come from behind whilst she was facing into her car changing the baba, then surely he must have had to drag her out, spin her round and wallop her in face THEN lean in the car himself and grab a half changed baby out of the backseat? Then what, just ran off with him or got into a car? Surely there will have been commotion and noise from the mama? Surely there are cameras in a supermarket carpark, the shop itself, road alongside or neighbouring shops?
I'm wondering how old the other children are who travelled to the shop with them - they could confirm if their baby brother was with them?
Gosh.
I mean even for us here in this world of crime and horror we choose to sail around, it's pretty damn rare for a daylight stranger baby abduction from a hugely public car park whilst the mama is present isn't it?!

Poor little Emmanuel, I hope in my heart that he's safe, fed and clean although in my head, with this story, I very much doubt it

There's no swelling. Wouldn't there still be swelling if it just happened the night before?

Confusing reports of course. I had read that she ran into 'a store' and asked if anyone had seen a baby or someone with a baby. If husb in the Big 5, wouldn't that be the first place if it was not? Start screaming immediately for help outside her car? I saw a couple pix of her/hubs with baby and all looked loving of their newest child. I did not see otherwise that there was anyone else with her at the time at the car, though some asking about a sibling that was there. Yes, someone could of watched her with a baby then went after it, took off, it does happen, kidnappings, car jackings, but. Of course we hate to think the worst of this parent from what has been reported as loving family. So sad for the vulnerable child and his siblings. IMO

My heart is still aching over the Jayden Spicer case so I've been hesitant to get emotionally involved with another missing little one, but now that I'm finally caught up on everything going on with this one I don't have a good feeling about it at all. The best case scenario is that someone really wanted a baby to raise as their own and took Emmanuel, but I don't think any of us believe that's what happened here.

So initially I had read that dad was inside the Big 5 store but the interviews I just watched seem to indicate she and little guy were at Big 5 alone to pick up some emergency piece of equipment needed at a game where dad remained with the other kids? and before she could enter the store she was attempting to change Emmanuel's diaper in the car, before removing dirty diaper as she readied her supplies, she was knocked out and the baby snatched and taken. Am I understanding that correctly?

I would say that it explains why she was outside her car with her back turned to anything about to happen behind her, which she explained it did. Both her and baby in vulnerable position to an attack. IF this is how it happened and if an attacker just saw mother with baby and wanted to kidnap, diaper sitch would not come into it. I'm just surmising the event that would be the reason of her explanation of the sudden attack and baby taking. IMO

It doesn’t look fresh to me either. I’d expect to see more redness and swelling.

I have a bad feeling about this, beyond the surface situation.

I think she said it happened before she went in.

Even if there aren't cameras in the parking lot, there has to be cameras somewhere along the escape route that the suspect took to drive away. I feel like LE would normally have the video and released a picture of the vehicle by now because time is of the essence.

An old bruise? IMO if she was knocked out they should have taken her to the hospital!

People in the region need to BOLO for someone who has a "new baby" that they didn't have until a couple days ago.
