I think she would have ended up with a head injury minimum if she was knocked out and landed on the ground. JMO
Agreed, the force needed to knock someone out, she would have cracked her head on something MOO

Totally agree. JMO I’d pay more attention to attempted alibi building, ie explaining a little too much about why and what. IOW she goes into great detail about changing the baby’s diaper and how she was knocked unconscious but says very little about whoever hit her.Is English her first language?
I got the sense it's not. Personally I would give someone a pass for poor word-choices when/if it's not their first language. But I would still pay attention to things like her providing justifications for her actions and things that won't help solve the case (I smelled he needed a diaper change so I said okay we'll change you/I was getting his diapers out), and those that seem designed to influence the audience into thinking she's a good parent (he was a happy baby) and missing important details, like actually being hit.
IMO
“I woke up here on the floor and I didn’t see Emmanuel.”
She said she had a black eye when she woke up.

She even calls them “someone” where we’d expect her to say “him” or “her.” After all she heard the voice and probably got a quick look considering the attacker hit her in the eye. And no, I don’t believe her story.
JMO I also don’t believe Emmanuel died from any natural cause (if he’s dead and it’s likely he is). My opinion only is that one big reason a person is willing to take the risk of hiding a child’s body is to conceal injuries contributing to the death. They’re betting on the body not being found or at least found far enough along to make a COD undetermined. Remember Jesse Wilson? Only bones remained and his adoptive mother couldn’t be charged.
All MOO
I’ve seen mention of a jewelry store across from Big 5. So many other camera opportunities, hard to know. But clearly her story didn’t match whatever evidence LE found.Maybe there was indeed a camera that captured the parking lot.
Or, maybe a neighbor's camera that shows the family loading into the vehicle to go to the game, but no baby?
jmopinion
eta: or video someone took at the game that should discrepancies in her story??
It sounds like she parked in a spot furthest away from the store, with the side of the vehicle she was supposedly changing his diaper on facing away from the front of the store. Can’t get much better than that for camera or other people evasion.all I can find that isn't RH's statement about lack of cameras is this:
It's unknown if there were security cameras in the parking lot that captured the alleged kidnapping. At this point, deputies have not put out a description for a potential suspect.
Yucaipa community comes together for vigil for missing 7-month-old boy after 'inconsistencies' found
where mom's statement was:
“Nobody saw nothing, there’s no camera’s here, there’s no lighting.”
meanwhile, a stroll around the parking lot shows adequate lighting. I wonder if the area she parked had lighting that wasn't functioning (you know, coincidentally)
Yeah it’s called “distancing”. IMO, they hatched this plan to point away from their home.To me, it seemed off when they asked the "abductor" to return their son "to his parents" rather than saying "to us." I felt like the mother was telling a fictional story, not reciting an honest memory.
Abusive relationships change you. Someday she will realize what life she could have had if she had left him the first time he showed who he was. All JMO.
So it would be really weird if the injury to her ,was to cover for the baby being missing and her injury actually made her insecure in her thinking patterns so maybe they decided to wait until her head fog lifted to report .I think she would have ended up with a head injury minimum if she was knocked out and landed on the ground. Whatever the ages turn out to be , I would still bet on emotionally immature.Curious what everyone thinks about what the parents ages might be? Or do we know and I’ve missed them. I’m horrible at guessing ages, like, very off a lot of the times I try, but here goes: I think she looks substantially older than he does in the few images I’ve seen. And on the older side to be a Mom to such little ones, maybe? Probably neither here nor there, just trying to analyze the dynamic here, I guess. Besides that he’s clearly a controlling abuser. Again, neither here nor there, probably, but I keep going back to it for some reason!
My guess would be, imminently. As soon as the probable cause affidavit is written. Days? Hours?I’ve seen mention of a jewelry store across from Big 5. So many other camera opportunities, hard to know. But clearly her story didn’t match whatever evidence LE found.
Wondering how quickly we’ll see an arrest?
Yeah it’s called “distancing”. IMO, they hatched this plan to point away from their home.
Per this link, "Riverside County Superior Court records show that Jake Mitchell Haro has a June 2023 felony conviction for child cruelty from a 2018 arrest in Hemet." I don't know that the records have been published in a WS-approved source, but IMO they might give his age at the time of his arrest?Curious what everyone thinks about what the parents ages might be? Or do we know and I’ve missed them. IMO if it was SIDS BECAUSE of the fathers past, I would have gotten LE involved immediately just to clear him, not hide the body! This case makes no sense! Welcome to WS!Devils Advocate:
I’m new here but I live in the IE and this has been everywhere.
I want to start out by saying I honestly believe the family is involved with Emmanuel’s disappearance and they deserve the full extent of the law pressed down on them if this is true.
Is it possible the baby may have died of SIDS in the night, the parents panicked. They could have assumed if they were to call for medical/police that because of the fathers previous charges that they would not be believed and would be blamed for the child’s death… Then proceeded to hide or get rid of his body and make up this elaborate story to cover up the fact that they disposed of the body. This could explain why they seem so off, disassociated, and like they are hiding something. They feel guilty like his death is their fault and did not want to be blamed. He looks like he had a few medical/physical issues and it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he could have just passed away in his sleep.
I’m not saying this is what happened but it’s a possibility. Don’t come for me just another POV. Either way if they were involved in disposing of him they deserve to be held accountable for their actions. I just hope this case comes to a resolve soon because I have a 2 month old and this situation absolutely terrifies me.
JMO
I have heard that the trees near the stall she parked in and that patch of bushes that would have been behind her vehicle, have grown up, and kind of obstruct the view of other cameras nearby, Can you see a difference from the google street view and the news footage ?Yeah, because a woman alone in the evening with a baby parks were there is no lighting. A mom who needs to change a diaper does so where there is no lighting.
Not.

and then she ran around her truck and then went into the store and asked them "have you seen a baby? or anyone with a baby". come on.“I woke up here on the floor and I didn’t see Emmanuel.”
She said she had a black eye when she woke up.
