CA CA - Emmanuel Haro, 7-months, reported kidnapped 7:30pm from Big 5 parking lot, Yucaipa Blvd, Yucaipa, 14 Aug 2025

The more we learn about this family the more and more my heart hurts. A 10 week year old baby?!
I honestly try my best whenever a case of a missing child pops up, to not automatically side eye the parents as none of us are perfect and here on WS we don't victim blame... As it stands, that so called father is the furthest thing from a victim so ima just go out and say it. I believe he has killed Emmanuel, he is the source of the black eye on the mother. I believe that there will be healing fractures on Emmanuel when he is found (possibly on the other children also) and I believe that he conjured up this abduction story and orchestrated it to happen when he had the most solid alibi, at a ball game surrounded by people. I think LE already has a rough idea of what has happened and the large amount of camera footage they are currently looking at in combination with phone records/GPS will fill in dots on what has occured.
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the mother at present... I believe that she is in a sense a victim of a violent man but at the same time I believe she is complicit in this crime, wether that be through fear of him or fear of authorities/incarceration, I believe that she is still complicit.
I don't think it will take too much longer for an arrest on them both and I believe that they will find that sweet little baba soon (From their hinky story they aren't exactly criminal masterminds) andddd I hope that the remaining children are placed somewhere safe where they can be safe.

These classes aren’t intended for this level of abuse though, it’s expected these parents go to jail, and while we reunification exists , generally these should be one and done situations. these classes are meant for parent who hit because they don’t understand discipline or need resources or minor intervention not cause brain damage in an infant

CPS is a big giant bag of failure in every single state, but they were not intended to handle people like this. Jail was meant to. Knowing what we know about CPS workers, I have no doubt that they probably dropped the ball in this case just like every other case, but the judge and DA should have charges against against them as far as I’m concerned, and until we start holding people legally accountable for doing things like this, it doesn’t change

It's this photo of little Emmanuel where I think he looks especially unhappy. His eyes look so sad.
I can't believe his parents are using this photo as the missing photo on their flyers! Possibly they don't even notice how unhappy he looks. MOO

moo but I think baby Emmanuel looks so sad in all photos and I can’t help but wonder if he was frequently harmed and if it’s possible a head injury earlier caused the strabismus. The photos of him break my heart.

Edit to add: I wrote this before seeing other’s also theorized TBI as a cause of at least the strabismus.

Her level of complicity will be determined, but I am concerned about her own safety at the moment. my opinion

It was reported that their 2 yr old daughter is now in state custody, thankfully.

Has anything been reported on the age of the other 4 kids, their father(s) and where they are now?

It is a reality in a lot of moms lives. Their man keeping them unstable. I hope you friend took her baby and got away from her baby's torturer !

I had thought 2 together and 3 prior between them all together it was 5 . Some people report 6 but I think it is five.

Yup 100% and I don't wholly disagree with it. If it is found that the father has soley injured and killed Emmanuel and there is evidence of DV in the household aimed towards the mother and the children, I believe that an intimate partner violence defense would be warranted for the mother. That's not to say she doesn't bare responsibility and blame though as complicity is there, just in a diminished sense.

Agreed. So how is it that Haro had 6 children living in his home, when poor Emmanuel 'went missing?' He should not have been anywhere near children, let alone living with 6 of them under his care.

I do not believe his 'story' about dropping his 10 week old baby " onto the kitchen sink partition" while bathing, resulting in broken ribs, etc. Why would you be holding a baby up high over that partition when bathing her? It makes no sense.

And if it did happen [which I doubt]----why didn't he call for help? Surely you'd know that a tiny infant would need medical care if they were dropped onto a porcelain partition?

i had read that they were a blended family of 6 i’ll try and locate a source. I was under impression that he had 2 kids with a previous wife & 2 kids with rebecca but who can say? jmo

edit to add:

ok cbs news says emmanuel is the youngest of rebecca’s 6 children but that’s the only place ive seen that

KLTA says Rebecca has 3 children with Jake “On Aug. 14, around 7 p.m., Rebecca Haro said she, her husband and their two other children were at a local park for their son’s football practice.”
