Hopefully far,far away from her mother.
imo

"Vanessa Haro was sentenced to 120 days in the work-release program and ordered to attend the child abuser treatment program."

Paywall but posted the relevant. info.
That baby girl and an older brother, who was born with fetal alcohol syndrome were adopted by a cousin. The girl has 3% brain function and is not much more than a vegetable sadly.

<modsnip: No link to an approved source> Utterly heartbreaking and makes you wonder about the prosecutor and judge who handed him a get out of jail free card.

Praying if he is not arrested before his Sept 2 court hearing, they slam him in prison for those 4 years for breaking terms of parole.

They have seized the Dads car to search according to a news article 2 hours ago. I'm thinking they, like most of us are now thinking the baby is deceased too. The article also states they can't find any witnesses that she even had the baby with her that day.

So what if they left him in the car and he died . They decided to come up with this story to cover themselves. They might have gotten so accustomed to just leaving him in the vehicle and he could have passed in this heat . So they came up with the kidnapping story .
If this is the case, then they're morons. A good attorney could get them off a negligent homicide/involuntary manslaughter charge for that by convincing a jury it was just a tragic accident/mistake made by exhausted parents that could happen to anyone. Instead they've used a ton of police resources and made it look like they're covering up a homicide. That said, with temps the way they've been in SoCal recently, leaving a child in a car for even a short period of time could quickly be fatal.

I suspect it's something more nefarious, in my uneducated opinion. The dad already has a history of severely battering a child and causing life-changing injuries. More likely they're covering up severe injuries from child abuse that proved fatal, just based on their behavior.

Nick Garcia from Fox 11 news says he has tried calling the parents, using the numbers that appear on the "missing Kid" posters but. the numbers appear to be disconnected....??? Not sure what to make of that.

timestamp 2:30
LE took their phones and I'd guess they immediately "disabled" them from receiving calls. I bet they were getting blasted. That or they provided made-up phone numbers.

  • #925
It's weird that they put their own phone number. My cat got lost in May and I put my phone number because it's a cat and I wasn't dealing with the police. But surely you would put some sort of non-emergency police phone number on the flyers wouldn't you?
Ah, but this pair is dumber than rocks, IMHO. And of course not working with LE to find their Missing Kid. Phones no longer work anyway, if the numbers were ever valid.

This is the $100,000,000 question right now. I don’t think anyone has said. If it’s true they kept him in the car at events who knows how long it’s been since he disappeared. I wonder if he’s been missing for longer than we know, what caused them to call LE now?
IMO if it was more than a day or so since they claimed he was abducted, then the "everywhere" grandma might be complicit. In one video of RH speaking, for a few seconds you can see a bit of her on the left and I swear her mouth is 100% synced to what RH was saying.

She is everywhere and if she cared about Emmanuel, we might well know when last proof of life was. Then again, she is pretty much delusional. All IMO.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

There is A LOT to find fault with this guy, but I'm not putting much weight in his pause to count his children. Considering what he did to his 10week old, he's not a father who cares much.

I found the lame reference to "diapy" in his interview to be more telling. That stood out as nothing but fake lovey concern.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. He comes off as incredibly insincere and I simply can't accept that a guy who beat an infant into a vegetative state uses that sort of cutesy language normally.

Just thought of another question - did they regularly go to the games to see his son play? Or was this a new thing for them?

It really bugs me they involved the son as part of fake kidnapping plot. Not that the son was involved, of course! But that they used him as an excuse - they were at his game and had to fetch a mouthguard for him. I think it's mean to create a narrative around him.

Can we post FB links? I have been "away" too darn long and clearly the rules have changed, but there is great video of it there.
Yes if it's an official page like the police department, not if it's just a person's page.

Another lawyer that should just stay away from media interviews especially because he's represented JH in the past so he's well aware of what the guys capable of.

"Meanwhile, defense attorney Vincent Hughes confirmed to News Channel 3 that he represented 32-year-old Jake Mitchell Haro in a 2018 child-cruelty case and is again representing him now as detectives investigate the disappearance of Haro’s 7-month-old son, Emmanuel."

I don't see any update about that. But what are the chances that a fire starts across the street where Jake and Rebecca lives. Anyone thinks it is connected?

Jmo

Not about across the street if you mean highway 10 its 1.9 miles from the Haro home unless I’m mistaken. Iirc they are on Taos rd.

Never mind, i see i was mistaken.

A Cabazon street address matching that of the parents of missing baby Emmanuel Haro was on fire Tuesday evening, but it's unclear whether the family's property was involved in the blaze.

The house fire was reported at 6:03 p.m. in the 50000 block of Ramona Street, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Yeah. Great. He deserves a good defense, so there is no chance of appeal. Even California can't give this guy a pass.

Their street is called Ramona, and the fire was directly across from their house.

I lost the comment re: his physical appearance

A medical professional here said his eyes could be related to fetal alcohol

And his physical appearance could be fetal alcohol or genetic

But I also wouldn’t be at all surprised to see that he has had bone shifting and wrong healing due to abuse. And also brain or spinal damage related to abuse
