I thought both sides gave good closings. My gut says he will be convicted on Jane Doe 2, 3, 4 and 5. I do believe Jane Doe 2 corroborates JD 1 and would not be surprised if he gets convicted on everything. Defense was right to argue that lack of bruising on JD 2 undermines choking claim, but I totally reject that argument. If a large strong man has his hands around your neck you do not push it. You submit to survive, hence no bruising. JMO.

I think it is so unfortunate that the Prosecution could not bring up the incident in the Target parking lot. I think it would seal a guilty verdict.

Yes! Also, I think they couldn't bring up the incident in a gym - hiding out in the women's locker room.

JMO but I think that if he is found not guilty on these charges he will just go and keep right on doing what he has been doing. He already thinks he is invincible. JMO

Just as I suspected, since he didn't have his penis out when the officers approached him, the woman's statements were ignored.

VISTA, Calif. — Former NFL star Kellen Winslow II preyed upon vulnerable women for sexual pleasure and threw some of them away like trash after raping them — part of a “perverse” and deviant pattern that is supported by a "mountain of evidence," a San Diego County prosecutor told a jury here Tuesday.

The prosecutor, Dan Owens, also called Winslow a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” and urged the jury to use “common sense” to deliver justice for his five alleged victims, including the three accusing him of rape.

“Lightning doesn’t strike twice, let alone five times,” Owens said during his closing argument to the jury.

I caught bits and pieces of the trial on Courtv but did not watch enough to know if the prosecution proved their case but I do think they have proven it from what I have heard and read about it so far. My SO watched the case in its entirety so I have been getting play-by-plays on it.

The take-away I have gotten from all I have heard and read is that he is most likely guilty of most of the charges if not all of them.

The basis I am using to think that is the sheer volume of allegations are so numerous that it is proving this person has a serious problem with sexual deviancy. I believe he has serious issues and combined with letting the power of being a NFL player get to his head then he began to act out and control woman like they were a possession rather than a human being.

He is one of the most dangerous types of sexual offenders because his "sickness" is real and so I do think he will offend again if he is allowed to go free.

I hope the jury makes the right decision in this case and holds him accountable for his crimes. He is dangerous to all women and they need to be protected from this individual.

The victims stories all share the same theme of an out of control individual who cannot control himself and has no care about his victims. Only his selfish arrogant sick deviancy was all he cared about. A very scary and dangerous person indeed.

Monsters like him are very dangerous because they dont have a neon sign on their forehead to warn us. They can look and seem normal until they corner their victims alone somewhere. Then they unleash their out of control behaviors.

#KellenWinslow - Jurors have resumed deliberations. They deliberated just under an hour yesterday and resumed this morning about 10 mins ago.

I agree I don't think the jury will convict on all charges. I think they will though on most of the charges.

I dislike waiting for a verdict! I think it is the thought of missing it when you have watched the trial.

So that could mean they are finished with Doe # 1 & 2 verdicts.
