The dog could have been left in an elevator and the floor it was found on, isn’t the floor she was visiting.
IMO Someone in that building is her connection for drugs. If she died from them, that person is not going to call the police. They let the dog out of the apartment of course, took her car keys and ran. MOO

I'm very bonded to my dog and you are right , people who love their pets wouldn't want to leave them just anywhere, BUT Heidi may not have had a choice in the matter.

I’m stumped guys. I’ve walked a few blocks and don’t see anything resembling where that video was taken. Many females walking alone.
Definitely a very busy area. Very busy complex. People in and out constantly.
The area we see her walking thru in the news video definitely is not behind H&F.
Thank you for going there and walking around.
Interesting, maybe the video was taken in a completely other area...nearby.
Strange though that the dog was found only a 1/2 later in the H&F building.

Or maybe the lane in the video is inaccessible to the public?

Yes that could be right.

See my post where I’m wondering about the location, too. I was wondering if it’s the Flower St alley. Are you there now?

IMO, nope, I just can't see many dog owners ever doing this. They love their pooches with all their heart, and if their dog can't go, then they wouldn't go either.

I personally don't think Heidi would ever abandoned her dog.

This. As a dog person, if I can’t bring her somewhere she stays at home. If I were planning to leave for an extended time I’d leave her with someone who’d care for her while I was gone. I’d never in a million years just turn her loose in a random location and abandon her.

Heidi cared enough to not leave the dog in a hot car, it doesn’t make sense for her to just let it go in a strange place. If she wanted to disappear she’d most likely leave the dog with her son or a friend.

So it's not Flower Stret Alley where she was walking?

Could this be why JW has stopped talking? That LE has informed him that Heidi is safe but does not wish to disclose her location? Nor even whether she checked herself into a facility or not.

Still,... leaving her dog bothers me.
I think if LE had advised JW that they located her he would put out a statement to media saying she’s been found, thank you very much. To put an end to the search and intrusion into their private lives.

You got the tow sign, good. I’d hope by now the cops have checked with the towing company for her car.

@andemb Thank you! You rock! You've identified the valet areas and the resident parking. Most excellent. Yes, good camera coverage. Noted.

So what does that tell you? To me it sounds like she is no longer with us. JMO

Yes, and I don't think she did it by choice.

If she died in an apartment, smuggling her body out would be difficult, I wonder if anyone or CCTV caught someone struggling with a large heavy box/bag...?

Or do the apartments have those trash chutes?

Then again, if Heidi was put into a trash chute, wouldn't you think the perp would put the dog in there too?

Sorry for the gruesome thoughts, but these things must be considered.

MOO.

I did see this alley and the first thing I thought was she probably parked exactly in this parking and took dog really quick to potty and then went inside H & F.
But I really didn’t think it matched for some reason. I will check again.

I think some knowledgeable posters gave some info on how long a typical flag football game runs, but in looking up the CYO-LA site (I believe that’s the organization), it said this: (page 34 of the manual)

“7. Timing
A. The game shall be four ten-minute quarters with running time. Intermission shall be one minute after the first and third quarters and five minutes between halves.”

https://cyola.org/Assets/1324/2019-20 CYO Governing Manual (8-15-19).pdf

So, it seems a game is finished up within an hours’ time. I was surprised how short a game is. I still don’t know the game time, but she left after only about 20 minutes, if we’re to calculate according to the timing rule above.

But they do stop the clock at the end of every play. So 10 minutes of football can easily be 15-20.

Interesting (!!!) I looked on google satellite map and thought it looked differently, wished I could go check it out. Thank you so much, LosAngeles!

Sorry, daytime traffic causes me posting issues on phone.

@andemb so I think you got it.
These would be the cameras that got her.
