Police say forensic evidence in a downtown LA apartment building led them to believe Heidi Planck had been killed. #LAPD is searching this landfill in #Castaic for her body. She went missing in mid-October.

from the statement:
“On November 4, 2021, Planck’s 2017 Range Rover was discovered in the subterranean parking garage of a residential building located several blocks from 1201 S. Hope Street.”

So, she parked in a garage associated with another residential building. What do you think her association is with this other residential building, that she would have parked there?

or someone moved her car there. Who knows

Wonder if Nov 4th is when police got warrants for H&F (and possibly other nearby garages).

I guess we now know why the RHD was involved. Its amazing they have had her Range Rover this whole time. It also now makes sense why there was so much silence surrounding this case. Clearly LE had a suspicion of what had happened to her from the beginning.
And now it makes more sense why they treated her house as a crime scene right away.

Someone familiar with the building posted about the security required to get in and out. I think we are going to see some suspect information soon unless this turns out to be something weird like she jumped in the garbage on her own....

From LAPD-

Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Robbery-Homicide Division are currently investigating the disappearance of Heidi Planck.

On October 20, 2021, Planck was reported missing by her ex-husband.

On October 29, 2021, Robbery-Homicide Division assumed investigative responsibility for the missing persons case. Since that time, detectives have worked tirelessly to gather leads related to Planck’s disappearance.

The investigation has revealed Planck was last seen on October 17, 2021, at an apartment complex at 1201 S. Hope Street, in the downtown area of Los Angeles. Her dog was found in that same building. Forensic evidence was located inside the building which has led detectives to believe an incident occurred resulting in Planck’s death.

On November 4, 2021, Planck’s 2017 Range Rover was discovered in the subterranean parking garage of a residential building located several blocks from 1201 S. Hope Street.

Further investigation has led investigators to the Chiquita Canyon Landfill, located at 29201 Henry Mayo Drive in the City of Castaic.

There is currently no suspect information.

So it was her range rover you found @andemb. I think that was the crime scene they are referring to. Pretty big deal. Terrible news though.
I don't think so....the side mirrors were a little different. Terrible news indeed. We were all hoping for a different outcome.

"There is currently no suspect information." This does not say to me that there is no suspect, only that there is no information about a suspect currently. If the area of the "incident" was an apartment then there would be a suspect and if the area of the "incident" was a public area in the building then the security cameras would have picked it up.

If they are reporting that she has been killed without a body, they have to have found gruesome evidence in that building.

Yes, I’m assuming her car was moved too. Probably from the guest lot across the street.

They haven’t yet said killed, right? Only that an incident likely lead to her death. Incident could mean a variety of things. I’m still not ruling out overdose.

Per google maps, walking distance is 1 mile and would take 22 minutes to walk
IMO that is a little to far to park to go to the Hope and Flower
Exactly and considering the video where she was last seen walking the dog in the alley, she most likely parked in the public parking lot across the street from H & F building. That would make sense why she chose to walk the dog a few steps away in that alley.
They had to of received a video tape showing her car leaving.
Looks like someone just parked it at the new location that they found it to throw police off.
So sad for her family .

Perhaps, but if it was an overdose, crimes were still committed. Forensic evidence was found in the building. That seems to indicate there was a specific crime scene found and most likely blood, imo. Other than maybe vomit, what forensic evidence would point to an overdose? And even if it was an overdose, her body seems to have ended up in the landfill, so unless she threw herself down the trash chute, someone else somehow disposed of her, it seems. JMO

Just weird that you kill someone, hide the body and the car but leave the dog to pin down the exact location it happened...

Keeping an open mind about what incident means. It could mean accident.

I’m sure all the camera footage in that area, led them to that parking garage, it just took them a while to go through all the footage.
There are cameras everywhere in that area. We saw so so many.

Maybe someone found the dog before they had a chance to dispose of the dog, too. They might have been occupied with dealing with her dead body, put the dog in the hallway because he was going nuts, etc.

So. Who lives in that building?

I didn’t say there was no crime committed. I was just pointing out that MSM has not specified that she was killed. They said an incident likely led her her death. Of course whatever happened could have involved criminal activity.

How long would human remains be evident in a land fill? Seriously asking? MOO

its just a matter of finding them. they do keep records of where refuse is placed and from where and when.

And yes, overdoses can involve all bodily fluids, including blood. From the mouth, nose, ears, etc. Not to be graphic but it’s a thing.

I need to go back through the articles from the raid on her house. Didn't one of them report that LE entered the house expecting to find a body? If that's the case, then it seems like LE has been linking it to someone close enough to HP to feel comfortable enough going back to her home to leave her.
