Now, I am beginning to think she and her car were never in that building and that the only connection to the building are the kind folks who picked up her dog and took him back to the building. MOO MOO MOO

I presumed the dog was found wandering around the apartment complex somewhere ... and it didn't let itself in.

Also, keeping someone else's missing dog for a whole week without handing it over to a vet or other animal service?!?

If you look up her employer which appears to be herself than is she under a federal securities investigation?

Her Facebook shows that she has worked for Camden Capital Partners in Beverly Hills since December 2016.

After looking at a map of LA, the apartment complex where the dog was found is in Downtown LA, near the Staples Center. It's a safe enough area normally but crime is up in the big cities of CA.

Her employment in Beverly Hills is a few miles west of the apartment complex (Staples Center area) and Downey is a few miles east of Staples Center. Her own home based on news reports appears to be in midtown, kind of in the middle of all of the other places she frequents. Unless stolen, I would think that her vehicle is somewhere in that area.

I do think it's kind of strange that her employment hasn't been mentioned in any news reports. Was she in the office regularly? Did she work from home? Didn't they find it strange that she hadn't been in communication with them or shown up for work?

And since she took her laptop with her to the ballpark, perhaps she was trying to work there while watching her son play, which makes me wonder if the reason she left was work related.

I'm quoting myself because I found there are several companies with names similar to Camden Capital Partners. All of the addresses are in the same vicinity of Los Angeles. It's unclear whether they are related in any way. And it's unclear whether she is part owner, a partner or an employee of the company.

With a federal investigation involved, it does make her disappearance suspicious. I hope she wasn't a victim of foul play.

I noticed that her name is listed as Heidi P. Wayne, her married name, even as late as 2020.

Just updated 15 minutes ago, but there is nothing new. Basically same info that was shown last night. But it does indicate now that the press are following this intently.
Missing Mid-City mom has family, police concerned | KTLA

Last night and here again they say her home is in mid city. Downey is not at all in the mid city area, so I'm wondering about the discrepancy.

Also, last night I found a small claims court case, involving Heidi and her ex....both were listed as living in Beverly Hills. I have doubts that she would move to the Downey area, which is not an upscale area by any means. Public records, mods please delete if not allowed JAMES K. WAYNE VS HEIDI PLANCK WAYNE

Downey is where the football game her son played in on Sunday the 17th, not where she lives. She was last seen at the football game, with her dog, and she left at halftime.

The complex’s behavior is typical for tenants who demand privacy. Complex may be in the wrong ethically or morally, but not legally. And I doubt “shaming” the complex publicly will work. If anything, it would draw the interest of potential tenants who seek that high level of security. There could be some potential civil liabilities depending on later facts. JMO.

yeah the behavior of the complex isn’t strange to me. It’s like people wanting footage of hotel cameras. It’s not gonna happen. They don’t want to piss off their customers/tenants. Not saying it’s right or wrong, but it just is.

OMG, her poor son! Only 10 years old. So sad. This is a weird case but now I think her disappearance has to be connected to her employer's legal trouble. Maybe she knew too much and they were afraid she would flip on them in court? They need to find her car, but I'm not to hopeful. JMOO
That was my 1st thought when they said the company was under investigation. Was she involved in reporting what was happening so she has been harmed?

One article posted here said the people who found the dog were able to retrieve the owner’s number from the microchip and called but didn’t get an answer.
I’m assuming when her ex found the phone, he was able to contact the dog finders and arrange to pick it up. I think they were good Samaritans in good case. MOO

In the video last night, Mr. Wayne mentioned that Heidi may have had two phones since he and her friend found a phone in the home.
I doubt Heidi would go to that football game without a phone, so it may be likely.

So that brings up the question why she would have two phones. One work related?

Yes, I would think so. One company phone, one personal.

I'm presuming the personal one was left at her home. She took her laptop to her son's football game, so probably took the work phone too.

Does anyone know how far her house is from the apartments? What I am wondering is, if the dog was found somewhere outside there, could he have walked? I guess we need to know where in the city the dog was found. It could have been anywhere.

The quick and drastic search by the Feds indicates to me it might be involved with the investigation of the business. And that type investigation would be Federal. If it is not that, then they know something major.

And where is her vehicle?

Moo.

If that apartment complex is near Staples Center as mentioned earlier, and she lives in mid city, then no...too far for the dog to have wandered to that area IMO.

I have to say I was more than stunned to see the Feds go into her home with guns drawn. What/who did they expect to be confronted by? Since they knew she has been missing, it wouldn't be her. Who then? Even the dog wasn't home.
And if the warrant covered computers and papers etc. from her business, why draw guns? They don't fight back.MOO MOO MOO

Worth watching since her ex-husband is interviewed. Also, interesting that he entered her home and found a phone.

I will say that it's very upsetting to me that it took nearly two weeks for the LAPD to search her home, and it sounds like it's only because it has become a high-profile case.
So I'm confused. The people who had her dog and took care of him for a week-did they find the dog inside on the 28th floor and take him in? Or did they find him outside the complex and bring him home? Big difference in which scenario is true.

The company she works for is under investigation for possible fraud charges.
Oh boy, whole new spin on why she may have left the game agitated. She's a controller there correct? If there is a fraud investigation going on, that's huge and may play a part in what happened to her.
