The crime they used as justification for entry was likely Destruction of Evidence.
Yes I agree but I bet it was to secure and preserve evidence of her involvement in whatever is happening with the fraud investigation too

No, unfortunately. You may post a web link to Yelp but not comments. Nor can the comments be discussed here.

That said, I believe a link was posted on page 1 or 2 already.

Correction: The link is on page 8 of this thread.
Ah ok thank you I appreciate this and yes I’ve seen the link previously posted just now and the comments. Thanks for confirming x

I live in the Hope and Flower Building in DTLA. I’ve been somewhat following this discussion and wanted to add a few things. One the parking garage needs a remote to get into it and all spaces are assigned. We pay $200 a month for parking and more if you want valet. Guests have to park in a public lot across the street for $20 a night. Two we have to keep a list of approved guests at the concierge’s desk and even then we have to come down to the lobby to escort our guests upstairs. Three nobody can get into the elevator and come upstairs unless they have a resident key fob to swipe for your particular floor. Four, my car got damaged in the garage so I asked for the footage from the surveillance cameras. I was told this request had to go through their legal department and to have my attorney or detective handling my case at LAPD contact their legal department. I spend 5k a month on a one bedroom and this place does everything in their power to make it difficult for everyone involved. If I order food, they don’t allow the delivery drivers to bring it to your door. We have to come down and get it from the concierges desk. Same thing with packages. They are supposed to accept them, log them and keep them at the concierges desk yet I’ve had countless packages go “missing” even after the delivery company has received a signature from a concierge. These were big value items. I don’t know ANYONE that is going to be resigning their lease. I don’t know much about this case but I can assure you she didn’t park in the garage, walk in, get in an elevator and get off at the 28th floor. It’s impossible for someone who doesn’t live here and have the garage opener, an assigned spot and a key fob for the 28th floor.
Thank you for such a clear, first hand explanation of the security features first hand.
MSM has reported that the dog was found on the 28th floor of H and F. But, the folks who took in the dog live on that floor. I think the assumption was made that the dog was roaming the floor ( I know that is what MSM has reported) , but in view of the difficulty accessing the building, I think the dog was found outside the building, dragging its leash or tied to a lap post, which is what prompted the folks to take him in to their place on the 28th floor.
I think LE is keeping the manner and place of finding the dog quiet for a very strategic reason.MOO MOO MOO

Wow, just wow. This is worth a scan including the LE Access but to collect all your web browser information and any guests must have a whole list of information available to ONNI including but not limited to Financial information? For a guest visiting you - why ? And if that’s the case then if Heidi Planck frequents this building then there will be a record for LE to investigate

I wonder if it really was the SEC, did he get the person's name and confirm it with them?
@Satchie - that is an EXCELLENT point that you make there especially when the husband said “ I don’t know who she was or how she got my name and my number but she was asking me about JS, something is dirty here “…….
Hmmmmm !

JS appeared to delete his LinkedIn profile on Tuesday after Fox News reached out for comment.

Planck told her friends and family that the company had "some tax filings that were due" and had complained that "her boss has her name on so much of their corporate paperwork," Wayne said.

Wayne traced the dog's microchip to the apartment complex after she was reported missing.

"He was found wandering around a luxury apartment complex downtown Los Angeles," Wayne said. Residents of the apartment complex found and cared for the dog until Wayne contacted the microchip company and tracked down its location, as The Daily Mail first reported.

He added that Planck had no connection to the building, and when he checked its parking garage a few days later, he did not see her car there.

Well that is very interesting……

Perhaps she was being paid for her participation in the LLCs, even if it was just her name and info on the paperwork.

There are a lot of potential red flags in this case. It seems one must pick which bits of information may be connected with her disappearance. But I can think of one scenario that factors in all of it.
Although Heidi had a boyfriend, he lived in another city. She wanted him to visit, and he said he couldn't. Either he truly couldn't or was using an excuse. She likely knew which it was. Meanwhile, she was a football game with her ex-husband and his family. Her career was a mess, too. All she had was her beloved dog. The dog turns up somewhere. She does not.

Could it be as simple as self-harm?

Missing California woman's ex-husband suspects foul play: 'Something's dirty here'

I'm not sure what to make of the phone call to Jim supposedly made by a female from the SEC? Let's play devil's advocate and it's wasn't an SEC Official -

?????????????????????????????????????????????
I’d go with your middle one @Knox
In one of the documents that I have read, her name (Heidi) was with ES on what looked like a legal witnessed document

What about people who work there? Some of them must have access to the floors and garage for security reasons.
There already seems to be evidence, allegedly, of some criminal activity in house, judging by the package theft.

this is also very possible. I was thinking about the Jake Cefolia case (has a thread here, he was an executive at American Airlines). He exhibited some strange behavior the night before he went missing. We also found out that law-enforcement had searched his house with a search warrant the day or 2 days before he disappeared and he was under investigation for something. He drove away in his car, which was later found near a forest preserve where he used to go hiking. Although it was searched many times, almost a year later his remains were found hanging by a belt in a thick section of trees by a contract worker.

For me the key question to determine if this was a possibility, is where is Heidi's car?!?

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear.

In my opinion, she has no knowledge.

Firstly, it happened several years before she was hired.

Secondly, she is just the assistant who does some simple paperwork. She has no evidence, she has no role in managing (JS's) money, she does not attend important meetings or participate in phone calls. The SEC and the FBI isn't interested in the assistant.

Possibly, not understanding this, Heidi became scared that she would somehow be held responsible. Possibly, not understanding this, conspiracy theorists were harassing her about it.

But legally, she was not in trouble, it was not her problem what her boss did with his buddies.

JMO
Do you know this for a fact or are you just surmising that she had no involvement? I ask because it’s very much a current investigation of Fraud that the FBI and Securities Commission are looking into and when the FBI went to her home, it was said that they took documentation and files etc so there must be, coupled with her name on documentation and 7 companies against her name all registered to the same address in Beverly Hills 90210 and she has openly said to her ex husband that her name is on documents and you put this together with her home, vehicle, lifestyle - all on an assistants salary in Los Angeles, an expensive place both in terms of property and lifestyle.
Her LinkedIn has more information available which makes me concerned that she may be a victim of whatever Is happening around her work and professional life.

Are there any witnesses other than the ex that saw and communicated with her at the game? Can anyone else verify if she was acting “distracted”? Can LE get a warrant to check the validity of this supposed phone call to the ex by the SEC? Has the bf spoken out? Custody battle, yet per the ex it would seem they have a great coparenting relationship. I’d like to hear more about this lengthy battle for custody and I agree with the poster that stated it’s odd to have the ex entering her place, searching through her phone, etc. IDK. The entire case is odd. Could she have went into hiding due to her job investigation? It doesn’t sound like she’d leave her son with worry but maybe she’s that scared? MOO IMO EBM

‘She would never just leave’: Investigators look into if Mid-City mom’s disappearance related to financial investigation | KTLA

Planck’s friends say in the days leading up to her disappearance, she was worried.

“She was really stressed and nervous, but she didn’t go into much detail,” said Planck’s friend Natalie John.

On the day she disappeared, Planck’s home security camera showed her leaving home with her dog. She attended her 10-year-old son’s football game, but abruptly left the game early.

“She didn’t seem agitated. She might have been a little bit antsy. She left with her dog, and she just walked up to us and said, ‘I’m gonna go,'” Planck’s ex-husband Jim Wayne said.

A few hours later, her dog was found wandering around an apartment in downtown L.A. But Planck was nowhere to be found.

Friends said Planck would not willingly leave her 10-year-old son behind.

“She would never do this to her boy. She’s worked so hard, so hard in her custody battle for this little boy,” John said.

“Absolutely abnormal, unlikely,” friend Danielle Nadolny said. “She would never just leave.”

Okay. So, she wasn’t sitting with the ex. If this report is accurate, he claims she was not agitated, maybe a “bit antsy.” Friend claims she was stressed and nervous but didn’t go into much detail. Well, what Did she say then? Much isn’t zero. She had to have mentioned something if she knew she was stressed and nervous. The custody battle again. Hmmm. She disappeared just after the game then. Her dog found just hours later. Someone followed her from the football field IMO. Any cameras at the field? Wonder what surrounds the area where the game was played? Certainly if homes and/or businesses are close there must be CCTV. MOO

3 days later? Is this normal for her not to be in contact with her son for that length of time? No texts, etc? No red flags were raised? Does the ex have custody or? MOO

Custody is shared 50/50, at least at this time, though there may have been ongoing custody issues, judging from her friend's comment about how hard she had worked in the custody battle. Per WS TOS, people not named as suspects may not be sleuthed, so the ex is off-limits, but I have to wonder if he and Heidi have as amicable a relationship as he portrays. Occam's Razor would normally point to the spouse or significant other in a missing person's case such as this, but this particular case has so many twists, Occam would probably throw in the towel and leave it for someone else to figure out.
