Interesting, they were able to extract text messages!
Yes. Here’s one... expert testified it was actually sent on Jan. 2nd Pacific Time.

I took a screenshot of Maline's computer files for computer witness Bryan LaRock. Notice there is one entitled Missing Laptop "Josepe-Lap"
I found it interesting that the majority of Maline's files for this witness were worked on 4/15/2019 around 4 in the morning...lol. Definitely last minute.
on today's testimony that just ended for morning break...the computer guy was showing a design pdf that was created 1/31/2010 on Joseph's computer, and a related phone call & text at the same approx time to Chase from Joseph making an assumption they were discussing this design...but what's weird - the computer access exhibit showing when the design was created 1/31/2010 showed that the design pdf was last *accessed* 2/5/2010. Of course the defense skipped that part. So obviously someone other than Joseph accessed it 2/5. Whether the access on 2/5/2010 was actually directly from Joseph's computer or was someone who accessed it via Joseph's google drive/google sketchup wasn't clarified though.
I have no idea what the defense is trying to prove though with any of this. ??? It's also obvious to me that the defense really didn't get to prepare very well with this witness. The testimony is very disjointed and slow going, switching back & forth between exhibits.
right... that's what @fridaybaker was asking about... but it's the only site that shows Hawaii, the numerous others say San Diego.I get Hawaii for that
ohhh almost 7pm, see my attachment in my other post, so his could have been part of that system scan. Do you recall what device it was from this morning?I also noticed the time was almost 7:00 p.m., the defense says they were only alive in the morning of the 5th, so even by their story it could not have been Joey.

It was pretty obvious to me that the prosecution asked for a sidebar and were asking for discovery of exhibits that hadn't been provided to them. Of course they should be given time to go through them before he continued testifying. I wish she'd stop her moaning and concentrate more on tweeting correct info.Cathy Russon @cathyrusson 1m1 minute ago
#McStay - After only another 30 mins of testimony court adjourns early for a 1 hour 45 min lunch. There is never any wonder why this case has lasted for months.
Just to point out that anyone who has already voted in the existing poll can change their vote.I'd like to see a new poll created: guilty, innocent or hung jury. Admins?
I was expecting to hear the lawyers/judge after the jury left, but nope. It sounded like all he was referencing was a "list of exhibits" which the judge said they should have had. I wasn't watching though and was only listening. Did it look like more than a list?It was pretty obvious to me that the prosecution asked for a sidebar and were asking for discovery of exhibits that hadn't been provided to them. I think that's what I heard too but I couldn't say for certain if there was anything else they asked to discuss at sidebar.I was expecting to hear the lawyers/judge after the jury left, but nope. I noticed that too. It's more evidence that LE investigated DK imo.Good grab! Kavanaugh chat logs? That could be interesting.
So the computer Mike took and returned wasn't switched on. Last activity, period, was early morning hours of the 8th.
How do you figure that?I noticed that too. It's more evidence that LE investigated DK imo.

If I understand correctly.... La Rock got a forensic image of the hard drives, he is the one that extracted and found all this stuff. What in this testimony tells you that LE 'investigated Dan' because these folders from the forensic image that was given to him are included in La Rock's testimony? Do we even know that LE found that folder?
Adding to this... the Google docs link that La Rock found, what I understood was there were spreadsheets that stopped around mid January 2009, which he decided to "search" the document name, which was jobs-joseph2009 (I think), when he did that search he found in the internet history that there was a google drive doc with that same name and it was public. This does not sound like something that LE found, it's something he found. And if LE did find it, why do you think we are just hearing about it now?
