Interesting, they were able to extract text messages!

Yes. Here’s one... expert testified it was actually sent on Jan. 2nd Pacific Time.

I took a screenshot of Maline's computer files for computer witness Bryan LaRock. Notice there is one entitled Missing Laptop "Josepe-Lap"

Good grab! Kavanaugh chat logs? That could be interesting.

I found it interesting that the majority of Maline's files for this witness were worked on 4/15/2019 around 4 in the morning...lol. Definitely last minute.

Yeah, seems this whole defense is a seat of the pants kind of deal.

on today's testimony that just ended for morning break...the computer guy was showing a design pdf that was created 1/31/2010 on Joseph's computer, and a related phone call & text at the same approx time to Chase from Joseph making an assumption they were discussing this design...but what's weird - the computer access exhibit showing when the design was created 1/31/2010 showed that the design pdf was last *accessed* 2/5/2010. Of course the defense skipped that part. So obviously someone other than Joseph accessed it 2/5. Whether the access on 2/5/2010 was actually directly from Joseph's computer or was someone who accessed it via Joseph's google drive/google sketchup wasn't clarified though.

I have no idea what the defense is trying to prove though with any of this. ??? It's also obvious to me that the defense really didn't get to prepare very well with this witness. The testimony is very disjointed and slow going, switching back & forth between exhibits.

I noticed the Feb 5th thing too... I wasn't at home though, did you happen to note the time and device? Feb 5th there was a system scan, I will have to go back in my notes and see what device and/or scan was from. I've attached the Feb 5th file from Schroeder's testimony... on cross, Schroeder changed his opinion and decided it was not user accessed, it was a system access. I believe this was from Device 5 though and unclear to me what we were looking at this morning.

I don't think it's disjointed at all. Unfortunately because he was using multiple different records to make a point, and they have to "show" that, it's just the way it goes. Anyone have any idea who the Boston number was to? For some that have decided that Chase is guilty, this stuff is probably pretty boring... but for those that are not certain, like myself at this point, this stuff is not boring at all. I did find one of the most interesting things from this morning was the fact that in 2009 Joey started doing the spreadsheet in Google docs and it was public. I recall Merritt saying there was a link he could go to, to add things in, so this explains that... from the transcript that Tortoise did...

That’s the, that’s the email from Joseph on the 1st. And then the, the running tab um, you can, you can, er matter of fact Dan has a copy of it, I mean you can see it anytime on uh, Joseph’s email, he has a, the same as I do, a link to the, we go to um, you know, it’s an online thing, it’s a link that pulls up that running tab with all of our

SOOOOO happy we are getting to see these things. I will have to wait until later to look better as I was listening more than watching.

I also noticed the time was almost 7:00 p.m., the defense says they were only alive in the morning of the 5th, so even by their story it could not have been Joey.
ohhh almost 7pm, see my attachment in my other post, so his could have been part of that system scan. Do you recall what device it was from this morning?

ETA: go figure... I did make a few notes this morning... I noted the time haha it was last accessed at 6:57:16pm on Feb 5th.

Just my guess but I believe that would be the folders modified, and they probably had one of their staff put them into easy to access/use folders for testimony, or they could have been put on that computer that day, or whatever. I do not think these were done on April 15th, the defense has been implying a lot of what has been shown since the State's case. JMO

I'd like to see a new poll created: guilty, innocent or hung jury. Admins?

#McStay - After only another 30 mins of testimony court adjourns early for a 1 hour 45 min lunch. There is never any wonder why this case has lasted for months.
It was pretty obvious to me that the prosecution asked for a sidebar and were asking for discovery of exhibits that hadn't been provided to them. Of course they should be given time to go through them before he continued testifying. I wish she'd stop her moaning and concentrate more on tweeting correct info.

Just to point out that anyone who has already voted in the existing poll can change their vote.

I was expecting to hear the lawyers/judge after the jury left, but nope. It sounded like all he was referencing was a "list of exhibits" which the judge said they should have had. I wasn't watching though and was only listening. Did it look like more than a list?

I think that's what I heard too but I couldn't say for certain if there was anything else they asked to discuss at sidebar.

So the computer Mike took and returned wasn't switched on. Last activity, period, was early morning hours of the 8th.

I noticed that too. It's more evidence that LE investigated DK imo.

Last shut down was on Feb 8th 3:55am and according to La Rock, it was a user that physically shut it down.

a few things I could see the defense saying based on previous testimony and questions...
first that Mike didn't take the emachine but the laptop that is "missing", or both and only returned the emachine. Second, that Dan was there on Feb 8th... going back to the bullet points in OS's, apparently Dan told his ex that he went to the home and pretended to be Joey at some point. <<< these are JMO and total speculation based on what I know and what was asked throughout other testimony.

How do you figure that?

If I understand correctly.... La Rock got a forensic image of the hard drives, he is the one that extracted and found all this stuff. What in this testimony tells you that LE 'investigated Dan' because these folders from the forensic image that was given to him are included in La Rock's testimony? Do we even know that LE found that folder?

Adding to this... the Google docs link that La Rock found, what I understood was there were spreadsheets that stopped around mid January 2009, which he decided to "search" the document name, which was jobs-joseph2009 (I think), when he did that search he found in the internet history that there was a google drive doc with that same name and it was public. This does not sound like something that LE found, it's something he found. And if LE did find it, why do you think we are just hearing about it now?

What is interesting about this is that Joey would have had to have been using QB while he was on the phone on that 18 minute call.

Ugh. It won’t let me upload the screen shot.
Here is a link http://i.imgur.com/n4l98M9.jpg

One more edit...
So look at what Joey was supposedly doing in QB while he was on the phone with Boston. Or is it more likely that he was busy on the phone with someone in Boston which allowed someone else to be in QB?

BBM...because it doesn't matter in the scheme of things? What is the significance that Joseph may have used google drive or google sketchup or possibly have shared that link with Merritt? Joseph obviously didn't use anything after 2/4/2010 anyway. LOL
