I don't know about you all... but those seem like pretty low numbers? I am used to seeing 1 in millions, not 1 in thousands? Anyone have thoughts?
Those are VERY low numbers.

Of course. And he didn't find anything conclusive.
I'll clear it for you: CM's DNA was NOWHERE to be found on the passenger side of the Trooper. 0 Goose egg etc. The DNA expert TESTED the front passenger area: door/handle/window switch with 0 results.
Other than CM on the steering wheel, 4 wheel drive lever AND the radio/temperature controls, which he TESTIFIED too.
Those are VERY low numbers.
Got it. What you've written may be fact, but it isn't conclusive as to whether Chase drove the Trooper.
It's different from what I have seen in other cases...
There were different numbers for the different swabs. No, they were in the Billions and Millions.

The number given is the probability that anyone other than the target person, was a contributor of the DNA. Usually the numbers are in the trillion or billion.
Like 1 in 400 trillion.
I'm going to suggest you re-watch the DNA Testimony and I'll leave it at that. I appreciate you trying so hard to convince otherwise, though.![]()
NOT in the 1000's.

No, but he DID touch those areas.
His two comments were right after they went missing, stating that he didn't want the focus on him and "we just want to find Joseph" and for the video "that's not Joseph, he walks (walked?) like a duck".So when were his comments?
Before the family was found, there were a ton of theories out there, and yes, they did start early on, and no, I don't believe they were deleted at the time. Like I said, unfortunately, the IS board is no longer around, and I believe it was discussed more there than here at the time, back in 2010. I have to say JMO because I can't prove it lol But I don't recall getting involved in the discussion here after IS was closed and I recall the discussion. But anyone that was following along in the early days/months/years, should not have been shocked at that theory, as it was not new, but again, JMO. My point is that it could have been a theory he picked up and ran with, just like and possibly with the help of Baker. There were many theories to choose from. JMO
They swabbed the drivers interior door handle, power window, and door lock controls.
JM major - assumed
SM trace - assumed
another trace low level contributor, no conclusionary statement. << couldn't even conclude if it was male or female.
He only looks for allele's that don't belong to the McStay's because he is assuming they are there, it was their truck.
The passenger interior door handle, power window and door lock controls were swabbed.
Mixture of 3 individuals. No conclusions.
See photo... the top one is from the drivers side but it cuts off.
