An Oklahoma man who was traveling the rodeo circuit with his brother has been reported missing to Oakdale Police. Susan Green said her sons Kevin and Jody Green left Oklahoma last week. Jody competed as a calf roper at the rodeo in Logandale, Nevada before driving to California on Thursday to compete in the Oakdale Rodeo.

Susan Green spoke to The Bee Tuesday during a layover in Denver while on her way to California to search for Kevin.

This is a strange one. Where would Kevin go? Does he know anyone in CA?

Oakdale police confirmed that is when Jody arrived in Oakdale but said detectives are still trying to determine if Kevin was with him. Authorities said Kevin had been riding in the brothers’ trailer but Jody could not confirm that he actually saw him in it once he arrived in Oakdale.

So did Jody make a stop along the way from Logandale, NV to Oakdale? Roughly a nine hour trip, so I would think yes. Maybe Kevin got out of the trailer at one of the stops?
Is it odd that he couldn't confirm seeing him once he arrived in Oakdale? Too many missing details.

I wrongly assumed Kevin was riding in a trailer on the trip to California. The post above from Oakdale PD gives more details.

This is still very unclear to me. Was Kevin riding with his brother in the truck cab? Were they hauling horses? Why was Kevin lying down in a horse trailer? Strange and very unclear.

Many horse trailers have living quarters as well, they're sort of like a half RV/ half horse hauler.

It appears to me that they rode together in the pick-up pulling the trailer. If he is riding the rodeo circuit you can pretty much bet he had a trailer that was half RV, half trailer. I think Kevin was in the trailer last time his brother saw him and later he came back and he was gone. Left his wallet and cell phone. I hope he is found soon.

KCRA 3 spoke with Oakdale police on Wednesday, where they said Green was last seen at the California-Nevada border, but it is not known when he was seen. He is considered at risk because of the "peculiar nature in which he went missing."

Police said he is also at risk because they are not ruling out foul play at this time.

ok.. my mind first went to the two missing brothers that were found murdered , Nick and Justin Diemel while traveling with cattle/lifestock but after reading up ... it appears Jody is alive and Kevin is missing.
Weird for sure

Looking for bodies found in the area--a man's body recovered in Manteca yesterday. That appears to be about 25 miles from Oakdale? I'm not familiar with the area, so I might be way off.

It is certainly within reasonable access.

I hope it's not Kevin. I hope he's safe somewhere enjoying whatever he was looking for.
