While I agree, some of the press is so intrusive, inappropriate, and disrespectful, the fiery image indicates whatever happened it looked like it was very instantaneous. And, I hope they will confirm no one suffered.
Also, I read somewhere authorities were asking for pictures, videos anyone may have to help them determine weather conditions, too.
There was a helicopter crash in NYC this past year, right in midtown, very foggy conditions, and somehow the pilot crashed on the rooftop of a skyscraper. It was thought he force landed it there to avoid a castrophie in Times Square. Just tragic, but no one on the street was hurt.
—Some things are so tragic there’s no getting around it. The bigness of it. I’m reminded of that fateful day in 1986 when the challenger space shuttle crew perished before our eyes, all those school children’s eyes.
But as difficult as that image was we knew they did not suffer.
It’s also such a part of how we process these tragedies in our visual world.
