CA CA - Linda Sohus, 28, San Marino, 8 February 1985

Well there you go. We were right. John and Linda Sohus disappeared with a myserious Christopher who has now appeared as Clark. Now, I have more questions than ever!! Where did Christopher/Clark come from??? What has he done in the years between 1985 and now??? Lots of info to flesh out yet. Lots of info....

Since they've linked him to a passport from Bavaria, I'd like to know what year he came to the U.S., was San Marino his first stop on arrival? CT was where he sold the vehicle and he stayed in the NE area.

"He wanted to create a loft-style dream home worthy of a magazine feature, setting the stage for another high-society ascension, this time as Charles “Chip” Smith..."

The phony Rockefeller planned his escape for as many as six months, police believe.

But perhaps Rockefeller’s unwieldy ego was his undoing. He convinced himself that he could hide in plain sight. He thought he was smarter than everyone else, but, in fact, investigators quickly had his number, just not his name.

I was wondering about this!!

Fraser Seitel, a spokesman for the descendants of John D. Rockefeller Sr., said he could say with certainty that Clark Rockefeller was not descended from that side of the family that made billions of dollars with Standard Oil and whose name is synonymous with extraordinary wealth. He said that family archives also show no indication that the fugitive was descended from William Rockefeller, John D. Rockefeller Sr.'s only sibling.

Maybe today we will see more comments like this...

Clark Rockefeller is a former director of the Algonquin Club, but resigned from the club three months ago, the club's manager said Monday.

Manager Lassaad Riahi said that he has known Rockefeller for the several years he was a member.

"What I do know is he's a gentleman. He's a kind man. Polite. Very, very intelligent," Riahi said. "I am very shocked."

What a mystery...
The one person who was nowhere to be seen yesterday was Sandra Boss, the woman who, according to their divorce decree, paid him about $800,000 to walk away from their marriage without any questions, or any permanent claim on their daughter, Reigh.

So far, Boss has come off as the victim of a husband who tried to kidnap their little “Snooks.” Sooner or later, Boss will have to come back to offer up the crazy - excuse me, eccentric - tale of their life together.

Some lawyer is going to ask her: “Ms. Boss, you are a successful businesswoman who was married to Clark Rockefeller for more than 12 years. Just when did you figure out that he was a fraud, an imposter, a cipher, a mystery man?”

Forget about that esoteric questions. How about something simpler like: “What the hell did the two of you do at tax time?”

Could Sandra Boss be Linda Sohus? I looked at pics side to side and it would be hard to tell because Sandra is way skinnier then Linda was and she could have had braces over the years.

The fact that they had all this money and she paid him $800,000 gets me. The Sohus's where supposed to have been very wealthy. Maybe she took some of the money with her.

That was a rather humorous article, though the "nebbish" reminds me of Woody Allen.

As to tax time, they probably filed separately with Boss unaware Clark wasn't filing.

Sandra has a twin sister named Julie. I'm fairly certain that Sandra's background, unlike Clarks', is verifiable.

If she is, won't she be in trouble for her husbands murder too?

This whole thing is crazy!

Capoly, 12 years and not knowing if her husband filed..

Unless the bones turn out to be part of that burial ground they say was nearby, then those are likely to be John.

Wouldn't the bones being found in plastic bags diminish the chances of them being from the burial ground? If the bags were buried for nearly 10 years, could fingerprints still show up on them?
