Found Deceased CA - Madyson Middleton, 8, Santa Cruz, 26 July 2015 - #1 *Arrest*

I have a lot of kids and we live in the area and all of my kids play outside and go to our local beach. This is a small community and this event has shaken this town up. I am a member of the Facebook page referred to earlier called take back Santa Cruz which discusses on going ways to work on the homeless problem and other complicated social problems that we have. I personally don't agree with some of the rhetoric and I don't like rumors but I do like to see what is being said.

I was so afraid to open this thread this morning. I was so hoping to see FOUND SAFE next to her name.

The more time that goes by, the more worrisome it gets. I also don't like that the dogs tracked her to the water.

Would this be like an art school ? I'm wondering how busy a place this is . Are there day students who come and go or does everyone live ' on campus' ?

If the video showed her at the complex at 5:05, what happened after that? Did it show someone grab her? Did it show any cars/people around looking suspicious?

. Yes for my mental health I don't come on websleuths much anymore I refuse to live in fear but this one is at home. I am going to go help tomorrow when I get home.

Really hoping for a happy outcome but it's not looking very positive. 8 yr olds don't just vanish and if there is an innocent explanation where is her scooter.

No foul play? So they think she fell in the river and was carried out to the ocean?? Along with her scooter?

Cause that is the only way I can see this not being foul play...and not having her body and/or scooter at this point.

Am I missing something?

I would love to hear from one of the locals about the state of the San Lorenzo. I mentioned earlier it could be a dry river bed...but even if it's not, the output over the beach is NOT deep - at least from my recollection - and I don't see a body AND the scooter being washed out through this.

I hope someone can set me straight if I am wrong.

My first thought was cheer, but they have pretty strict rules about having hair pulled back and her hair is down....on closer inspection, the makeup almost looks "shopped" like one of those apps where you "try on" different makeup looks.

The makeup in that picture is distracting but I think it's more to show the purple dress which is similar
to what she was wearing when she went missing

I initially heard about Madyson because I have a friend who lives in her neighborhood who posted something on FB about all the police presence.

I asked her about the current state of the river, will let you know when I hear back.
